8082_1359018606.jpg I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_8082.jpg |

| Quote: PAUL M "It killed us and the game.
It's the little things that annoy me, Leeds constantly got quick ptb's as there players fought to get off the floor. Our players seem to enjoy the rest on the floor and make no effort to get up. Leeds were not much more creative than us but due the speed of the ptb they constantly got our defence on the back foot and made easy yards.
It really needs addressing, it should be drummed into players at training aswell as attacking angled runs.
WTF do RA and JS do in training?'"
As Agar would say "I wouldn't disagree with that"
After watching the game again on tv last night Eddie & Stevo were saying how well Leeds played? For me I don't think they played that well they were just more clynical than us and got the basics right which we don't. Leeds for me were definately beatable last night had we shown some desire, fight and had a little bit of nouse about our play.
Dummy runners, angle runs either side of the ball carrier and players actually gettiung up in support of the ball carrier would be a good start and something that they it would appear do very little of in training.

[quote="Wellsy13":1juz9zgo]To us REAL fans, there's no better feeling than winning competitions. Getting to a final is next. Then a top 6 finish or semi-final appearance. Then I suppose the derby counts as the most important league fixture.
Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else.
Quite sad, really! [/quote:1juz9zgo]
SPOT ON!
A Hull KR fan about Billy Slater:

| Quote: Wollagong Way "Because we have a 1st team coach who has been an assistant to two coaches who couldn't see / sort the problem out....Agar is no different....clean sweep of the coaching set up from top to bottom for me is the only way we will address these issues.'"
Ofcourse he sees the issues, he states them every week in his post-match interview and is normally spot on about why we lose games.

As did the last coach, and to a certain extent Kear as well. Problem is we need a coach who can act on their observations. If all they are good for is analysis, maybe they should just work for sky.

| Could it be that the coach is doing the best he can but it is infact the players that just are not good enough??i think you have more then most average plodding workhorse type players and not enough creative players and you have been found out, Kear was good at getting them to play as a team but with Sharp and now Agar they don't seem as able to, your even doing a great job of making Berrigan look average and that can't be easy, the likes of Swain and Kearny pulled the team together but you don't have that now and as much as you dream about these big name signings coming in the reality is the board are gonna keep looking for the cheap option, why else would they give agar the contract they did without him proving himself further??

I do think we have creative players, but they are played out of position. Whiting is a LF, yet we play a prop there. that is one of the major problems. With a good coach i think we would be a good side

SO WHY ISNT HE DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!!!
he is supposed to be the head coach he is supposed to tell the players what he wants them to do. He's not supposed to just sit there and accept that as an excuse every week.'" Simple he is not super league standard pure and simple and Thorman is nl1 standard at best Mark Hewitt would do a better job he still has a better kicking game than Thorman

Thorman would struggle to get into some Championship sides.'" Did he recommend him though he is the type of player we get these days dont you think

It's not just the miss either , it's the fact that he just has no intention of tackling , it's just a token hand on the shoulder before being brushed off.'" Yep and you look at Horn he will try to tackle any one

No, he's always missed plenty but he's immune from criticism as he's a Hull lad
