Hull FC offered £8,500 for a season and all Josh ever wanted to do was play for FC like his dad.

It's gone down £1,500 in a week. By the end of the month he'll have been asked to pay the club for the privilege of playing for them. |

my mate wasnt much out then his family told him 10k a season after tax thats about right ,again player retention is terrible its about time they got rid of Agar hes an idiot we finished one of bottom last year and bottom this year discounting the promoted teams ,anybody else would have gone by now hes a good no2 but can not make the big descions required to be a top coach ,with the players we have we should of made top 8 minimum |

how much would you spend on a 3rd choice (possibly 4th choice if lee stays) hooker with hardly any experience? bearing in mind there is a salary cap? |

Like it or not probably out of Agar's hands it's up to the board how much money they pay and in the grand scheme of things such as the salary cap I wouldn't have thought there would be much more then that left over for a third choice hooker. |

Let's see how Hodgson develops in a position where we have plenty of cover before screaming too much, eh? You can't keep every promising youngster who comes along, no matter if their dad did play for the club in years gone by.
That's assuming that there's any truth in these rumours of course. Other people who know the reserves well seem to think that the decision wasn't money related for the most part.
Oh - and as duff as I think Agar is, our squad this season was only ever borderline playoff material even with luck and a following wind. |
