In fact Griffin's was far worse as he ran in from a distance and decided to knock out a few bars of 'When The Levee Breaks' on Partington's head. The ref's are infuriatingly inconsistent on most things and this is just the same. I could point to the forearm into Isa's face as one that should have been given but wasn't. Griffin's fault..no one else's.

You have picked up on the salient point as to why the referee penalised Griffin ie for running in and even pushing through Hull players to get to and pat Partington on the head. On the first pat Kendall blew a penalty and the handbags continued with Isa, who made the error, well away holding the ball and laughing at the rumpus. A complete brain snap from Griffin which achieved nothing except to change the momentum of the game and Wigan scored 2 tries soon after.

Amongst the stats from last night. 6 Wigan players >100m, only Bureta for us.

We were second best by a long way.
Considering the non-attendance element we can't really complain that we haven't had a good go on the fairground ride.
Ups and downs but its rarely dull with us.
Got too long a break now for my liking but we dust ourselves down and go again in 2021.

I’m trying to work out what the most difficult of circumstances are, Taking over from Radford? How is 5 drives and a kick a good game plan. The only time we opened Wigan and should have scored up was right at the end when the game was gone.

The 6th place team were comprehensively beaten by the 1st place team. The over reaction and desperation shown on here is laughable.
