Transfer tales

Rumours have been flying around about several struggling clubs making player swaps and moves, as they look to improve their results. Wakefield are rumoured to be after Castleford's Adam Milner on a season-long loan. We've been told Milner is keen to join Trin, but nothing has been agreed as of yet. Watch this space. There's also been chat about the Tigers sending forward Daniel Smith to Hull FC, and getting Joe Lovodua in return. But our man at the Black & Whites has denied that is happening. Another rumour doing the rounds is of Warrington sending Joe Philbin on loan to Hull FC, but that has been denied by both clubs.

Of all the names stated I would have only brought in Philbin (but not at the expense of Savelio) and he is suspended for two matches anyway, so I'd rather we waited and didn't panic.



I'd rather offload either Evans (unlikely) or Lovodua and bring in another overseas NRL forward, but that will take time, so maybe we have something in the pipeliine.



We could pay Evans off, but this is getting too regular now and we don't want a reputation for players to just come on big salaries and if you don't perform you will be rewarded with a holiday and big payout (like Reynolds got).
