| Quote: Staffs FC "Take my hat off to our forwards who eventually blasted them out of the way with power. Eventually they collapsed. Hats off to Houghton who decided to become the playmaker on his own after about 55 mins and it was enough to take us over the line.
We need to work and work and work and work with Sneyd to try and get him to make more correct decisions with the ball because any decent scrum half should be making hay behind this pack. Either that or give one of the young lads a go.
How the hell Gaz Ellis didn't win MOM is beyond me. Thought all forwards were very good and in the end our big men won the day. Not sure why Terry O Connor kept criticising Pritchard throughout the game. He played the full 80, saved 2 tries in the first half and made massive metres down their right side second half. Swapping him and Mini's sides at the start didn't work and shouldn't be repeated.
Congratulations to the lads obviously they knew it only needed 25 mins to beat the red and white *****.'"
Thought snyed was good in the last 20 when the team playec better, amazing that, wasnt very good when our forwards was dominatec for the first 60! Coincidence or what!!

Shaul has come on so much this year, my player of the season for us so far.

I'll need to watch it again but I thought Sneyd had a mare throughout. Nice conversion at the end fair play to him for that. Houghton took the game by the scruff of the neck in the absence of anyone else doing it and we looked a different side.

He's got the potential to be one of the clubs best fullbacks imo .

| Keiron Dixon would have made better attempted tackles than Cockayne on Shaul and Michaels.

Houghton was the main spark in the last 20 - sorry if you find that hard to understand. He became the playmaker out of dummy half and took KR on directly and brought his players on to the ball. It's not that hard.

| What a crazy game. I was all set to switch it off and watch the cricket instead when Shaul went over. There were some huge performances in that last 20. I never fail to be amazed by Gareth Ellis. I honestly thought his career was over when he got that injury last year. To come back and carry on putting in performances like that is unreal.
I know we can't just throw caution to wind and play quite that expansively all the time. But it's frustrating to see us playing mind numbing one out rugby when you know what we are capable of. I said that before the game we would come unstuck if we played not to lose, and that's exactly what we did. There's times when you need to keep it simple and play out your sets, but you won't win many games if you do it all the time.
The great comeback doesn't excuse the horrible first hour, but it does make it all that sweeter.

I dont find it hard to understand, I agreed that houghton was excellant in the last 20. Just pointing out how clueless you are when it comes to the scrum half posistion. When we was 20 nil down , you said we "need"to get rid of snyed and give a young kid a go, as if that would solve everything. We win22 -20 and you talk as if snyed had nothing at all to do with it, but blame him for been 20 down. Thats what I dont get

OK I'll make it a bit easier. I expect more from the scrum half than we are currently getting from Sneyd. Not just in this game but all games. He makes too many wrong decisions with his distribution. He hits the front man when he should go behind and vice versa. He runs the ball and puts his own players under pressure (Minichiello). Had he played to par I think we would have scored some points earlier in the game.
The logic you are using could just as easily apply to your view on Radford. When things go wrong you're all over him like a rash. When we win you're nowhere. That's what I don't get.
