I would imagine the first kind of people Pearson would ring will be his counterparts at Wigan, Warrington and St Helens.
All three have turned around clubs that were struggling to the extent in the case of two of them going out of business. They have excellent business plans for their clubs and made the most important decisions themselves.
Wigan had the most successful British coach in Noble, Lenagan released Noble and brought in Mcguire. Wigan then became SL champions.
Warrington had Paul Cullen in charge who we all forget saved Wire from relegation. Moran saw PC could not take the club further and replaced him with Smith. Result two C Cup wins.
McManus has made all kind of correct decisions at Saints from coaches to stadium. Saints have been in all kinds of finals both winning and losing.
Pearson has taken over a profitable club with great facilities, great fans and a superb youth system.
From an outsiders POV your coaching is simply dreadful. Some great younger players coming through don't just advance they go backwards.
Pearson need to look at replacing the coaches from first team through the U20s U18s and scholarship.
Hull have it all except good coaching.
Oh, and stop buying players who are over 30 and injured!
As a Wigan fan I'd just say at this stage more then ever RL & SL need a very strong Hull FC.
I hope you can all get there!

eusa_clap.gif Well said and nice to have an unbiased viewpoint. Seems even rival fans see the Coaching side of the club as the downfall too.

I'm sure Adam Pearson will do whatever it takes for us to climb above the 3 teams mentioned icon_biggrin.gif

Thats the key to it. Its not just Agar who must go but Last, Webster and the other chap whose name escapes me (Graham?). We need a completely fresh start. No room for sentiment.

Totally agree i'm really fed up of jobs for the boys mentality at our club , lets actually employ people who can take us forward rather than the cheap option or what they've done for us in the past! icon_mad.gif

The impending Wigan defeat will see a whole load of pressure on Agarr from the Stands and with AP watching.
I am afraid to say i think we will get mullered by Wigan

You've basically said we're defeated before kick off, I know we have a lot of issues but feck me have a little hope. I want Agar to go as much as the next man but I also want my team to win no matter what or how.
I don't think we will get mullered, maybe the players will take some responsibility for their inept displays this season and actually put in an 80 minute effort.

very good , I am a massive FC fan and understand and have studied winning in my job.

Alas I have spent the last 4 years watching this muppet coach and , unless you've been in a different gamma sector , here on planet Fc we have seen oodles of sh*te served up in BIG games. KR and Morgan have played us like a fiddle since they joined SL and don't talk about our other BIg game record under captain mannering.

We haven't been hammered all season. It will be another game where we compete for 40 minutes only

A crushing defeat followed by boos from the crowd should be another nail into Agar's coffin, then again if we win...?

The thing is we don't know what AP is planning, he might want to give Agar a chance under his ownership?

If he wants to make a loss in his first season in charge, that's exactly what he should do. I know a few people, myself included, who won't renew if we go into next season with Agar in charge. The walk up support has all but disappeared already, and what's left will go the same way if Pearson doesn't act.

Pearson knows that. He wants to maximise the club's income and that means getting attendances back up to where they were and then higher.

He will act, but (unless something drastic occurs) not till the end of the season.

Even if he'd lost leave of his senses for long enough to consider doing that, his business acumen would prevent him from ever actually doing it. Agar's a dead man walking.

Sounds like it to me if he's allowing Agar to make signings for next season. Very depressing. Thinking of not renewing our passes (4 of them) if this is the case. Pearson needs someone to sit him down with the basic facts that we've beaten two SL teams in the Challenge Cup (Bradford and Wakefield in 2008 - woo-hoo) and won no play-off games now we're into Agar's 4th year in charge. Where is the evidence that a couple of new players will transform us into challengers? Beggars belief. Then overlay with our humiliating record against the top teams, particularly Leeds and Wigan. Rule is obviously chief adviser to Pearson on the rugby front. Going into next season with Agar is writing off another season and losing another 2k fans potentially as we've done this year. The club needs to ride the momentum of the change at the top and deliver some actual change on the pitch. There is absolutely zero evidence that Agar can do this.
