Only just seen the replies to this, For the Chase issue. My information is it would take at least 500k to shift him, He is happy at Cas, And we're working on extending his deal, He has 3 years left, And we are aiming to add another 5 to that.

The deal doesnt have to be done immediately, But the club are by no means thinking of allowing Chase to go after 3 years.

To be fair though if he did decide that he needed to move from Cas I'd imagine it would be to a better team then Hull, he looks like he has all the skills to make it at the very top to me, anyone who went on Sunday will have seen the talent he has, if he improves little areas of his game he could be world class.

This was never going to happen, and was a little cringeworthy to be honest that soany Hull fans assumed Cas would just sell us there best player, and if the 500k price tag mentioned is true, fair play to Cas for showing ambition.

Westerman, Had been average at best for 2 years, He had problems off the field, And only had 1 year left on his contract, At which he had already told us he was not going to sign another deal. So to take about 125k and miss him for 1 year, Is great Business

Chase is different class, He has 3 years left on a deal,And has no intention on leaving, And we have built our whole squad around him, He does have the potential to be the very best, In SL anyway. And should he reject us in 3 years time, He will probably have rejected a club record fee, And joined one of the super powers, If not, And NRL side.

The figure of 500k, I was given by a club representative, Who often feeds me info, So it will be true. As Newcastle will find in Football. You dont sell your most prized asset without been able to replace them

We have no chance whatsoever of getting Chase. I still think we are in with a chance of Sammut. I'd rather have Chase, but Sammut would be better than nothing.

You were never in for Chase, We havent had any approach. The whole thing was to cover up your intentions on signing Sammut, To get Crusaders to drop the price

they were in for chase and thats why your being told 500k. why would they come up with a min valuation for a player nobody has enquired about??

Also, if you dont sign sammut then phelps is a no brainer. If Maguire viewed him as good enough for wigan prior to injuries, then how does agar feel that he wont improve your team?
