Just the kind of positive news we need after the derby defeat.
Would be a shocking move for 2 reasons,
He isnt any good anymore.
and
It will lose quiet a few fans.
I really think the club doesn't have any signings lined up.
Be nice to get some positive news about a signing after the weekend.

It, imo, won't happen.
James Rule has said on numerous occasions that it won't while he's at the club.

As I've said before if Cooke did return I won't be attending anymore games until he is gone. It's not even as if he is any good anymore anyway. I assume Rule will be leaving aswell since he quite categorically stated that Cooke wouldn't play for Hull FC whilst he was at the club. We should splash the cash on Rangi Chase if the rumours about Berro coming off quota are true.

Or take a risk on a young NRL halfback, Dobson has gone from been a reserve grade player to one of the best 7's in SL. |

Main reason I'd go for Chase is that he can give Houghton a rest at hooker during games and allow Berro to play in the centres which gives the team more balance IMO. For me Chase is the most creative player in SL at the moment and would really improve our attack massively. |

The difference between Aussie half backs and ours is that they actually learn how to play the position.
England has only produced one top class half back in 10 years. |

Totally agree....Houghton needs a break, he is getting flogged
