I'll half join you. He was one of our better forwards, particularly in his 2nd stint, but I think it said more about those around him than how well he actually played. Should not be a focus of criticism tonight (at least in terms of his performance), but still didn't make a compelling case to convince me he's worth a place in our 17.

His weight loss has not helped. A problem with our relatively small forwards is that it makes us massively dependent upon them out-enthusing the opposition. We're seeing that as soon as we let our intensity/effort drop even slightly, we're getting battered because we don't have enough size/strength to fall back on.

Out enthused again by a lesser team, too many players lazy and not earning their money. Watts going through what he did at rovers not bothered now hes settled, Lynch looks like hes had it and Our forwards just lack any aggression or punch. Give bowden a run of games cant do an any worse

I was happy with 5th or 6th if we showed momentum towards the end of the season, and proved we could beat the big teams on the day (which in fairness we did against Wire and Leeds) I see know point of limping in to the playoffs in 7th or 8th, to be sent to France, Craven Park or Headingley for a battering, in fact i'd rather finish 9th and save the embarrassment.

Don't know how Lynch has declined so quickly, he played better last season playing with a broken wrist! Mark O'Meley is the only one putting in a decent show and he's got more miles on the clock than the rest of the pack!
