Overall, last season wasn't great and for that gentle paid the price. At what point pearson thought it a good idea to give a young, inexperienced coach who has been part of the malaise that has been Hull FC for the last 8 years, including a stint as club captain, the job of sorting it out god only knows. Remember also the huge injury list that Peter Gentle had to contend with.14 players injured at one point plus losing Ellis for a long period didn't help.
Always said it was a big mistake to sack Gentle.
he had already recognised he needed some bigger props.Dont forget Paea,Feka and Thompson were all Signed when Gentle was still in charge.
Radford has signed Tuson and Carvell and they have hardly set the team alight.
The season has finished now for most supporters and interest is at its lowest I have known for several years.
Its difficult now for Pearson to make a U turn but Radford is not the man to take this club forward.
We need also a settled team not changed very week because 1 or 2 players have a bad game.

last season we had "gentle out" and "westerman out"(gives away penalties and misses tackles) 2 years ago it was horne who was past his sell by date now its crooks,crookes,miller,carvell,tuson,yeoman etc if we signed jonathon thurston people would still complain. we all said we wanted a coach who was open about players playing badly and who would drop players who didnt perform now we moan about not having a settled side. with shaul, lineman,crooks rankin,miller,green,bowdon,cunningham,hadley,bobby t-wilson,harry t-wilson, dean,turgit etc and players like houghton,westerman,watts etc in the 20s the future looks rosy. hulls fickle fans dont want a coach they want a fairy godmother
