| Fitz - utterly awesome display. A class apart.
Long - what we've been missing.
Lauaki - that tackle on Graham was worth the vote on its own.
Whiting a close fourth for another excellent display.

I might get slated but Long just did what we brought him in to do, if you include him for that he'll be in the top 3 every week so we might as well just give him poty now.

But has been said, its pretty impossible to isolate 3 people as I could have easily have put Fitz, Horne, Briscoe, Berrigan in there and indeed the whole rest of the team.
Good times...

Don't know if it was the fog or Longy rubbing off on him (ooh er ) but wasn't it nice to (almost) see the majority of his kicks finding the floor. Defence was very good last night too.

On that basis, Dykes should never have had MOTM then?
Long was a class apart.

What a bizarre comment. If he puts in a mom performance every week, he should be given the mom everyweek. That won't happen though, just because no two games are the same.

No I agree Long was class but he'll be class whenever he is on the pitch and will get MOM plenty of times. Hame and Whiting in particular had excellent games and probably games they won't be able to repeat another 30 times this year, Long will.

| So hard to pick just three, but...
1. Fitz. Simply outstanding.
2. Long. What we've been missing.
3. Berro. Finally showed what we've been waiting to see from him.
Close 4th were Hame, Whiting, Tansey, O'Meley - then everyone else. Fantastic performance 1-17.

| Fitzgibbon, Long, Berrigan, and Lauaki were real stand-outs [ion the pitch[/i but, for me, the man of the match has to be Richard Agar.
The performance last night was all about the team. Sure Fitzgibbon, Long, and Berrigan were integral to that in terms of direction and leadership and the forwards were strong and aggressive as a unit, but for the first time in a long time we looked and played like a [iteam[/i.
We were balanced, motivated, confident, and enthusiastic. And Richard Agar must take a lot of credit for bringing all the pieces of the jigsaw together (including Dennis Moore) that resulted in perhaps the best team performance I have seen from a Hull side since the Stephen Kearney inspired 2005 Challenge Cup semi final win over Saints.
It's very early days and we still have a lot to prove but, based on that performance, I feel we have a lot to look forward to in 2010. I think we can afford to enjoy that performance and I think Richard Agar should take a lot of credit for the team he has brought together.
