| Berrigan is our hooker, simples! Especially when long is here next year. The only decisions that have to be made are who spells him? Lee or Houghton? And given danny is a brilliant impact hooker with his scoots etc. There is only one winner!

| I really cannot see who is going to benefit by sending Houghton out on loan next season.
Surely he is a valued member of our squad. Why leave ourselves short of options ??

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

| If he's not going to feature regularly in a Hull FC shirt then a loan move would benefit him as a player but as the last two seasons have shown we need depth in numbers and plenty of cover for injuries. I can't see Houghton being very happy about it either and I wonder if that would be the final insult and prompt him to look for another club; there's no doubt there'd be loads of interest.

Im sure his contract would run out at the end of his loan year so yes I agree about him fookin us off and looking elsewhere.
Ok he may get game time but I also cant see a drop to a lower standard standard of rugby benefitting him anyway.

But you've gotta remember that when his loan finished, so would berrigans contract (the man himself has stated he probably wouldn't take up the option of a 4th year). So that would mean he could come back as our starting hooker after a year out on loan getting used to it! And who said it would be to an nl1 team? I'm sure there are sl teams that would have him as there starting hooker!

| Quote: Riff "Did not this second half display put paid to wh should be the hooker between Houghton and Lee.
With Houghton we have a go forward player who makes defenses worry,an puts out clean sharp passes, should have played from the start.
We start off to defensive, as soon as Houghton , Moa , and Whiting came on we went forward and played rugby.
We need to get Maloney in then we will have another go forward player'"
Houghton was very good. Think youre forgetting that Lee is a different type of hooker and out of the 3 we have he has been our best one this season.
Has Tommy pinched your bird or something cos you seem to have a really irrational dislike for him.

Would Maloney be a loan move? I think it'd be a real travesty if we released him, the guy hasn't had a fair crack of the whip in my opinion and has looked pretty solid when he had played; plus he's young, cheap and more importantly he's English

| Unless malony has signed for another year, it would seem that we are releasing him as he only had a 1 year contract.
cant understand sending danny houghton to fev on loan wouldn't do him any good, surely he'd be better going on loan to celtic or even cas like was rumoured before, he needs to b playing against superleague opposition week in week out.

Totally agree, if he's going out on loan it should be to play SL week in week out; that's the only way a loan move is going to be of benefit in my book

We have bigger holes to fill with the remaining salary cap than to go out looking for yet another hooker.
By the sound of things Lee stays, Houghton goes !!

Would make sense for us to sign him on and send him out on loan. Depends what the rest of the side looks like.
