wouldn't be happy, but its going to happen
thats largely why I'm in favour of sticking with Agar for the time being, because the alternative (Sharp) isn't going to be any better, and could even be worse

Millward has enough baggage to fill heathrow airport though, can't say I've ever heard anyone say a good word about him
and lets not forget he did nothing with Wigan (who are/were in a similar state to ourselves, full of average players and in need or rebuilding)

| Brian Smith
Although I would settle for Ian Millward. As mentioned I also think he would totally re-style our attack.

| Agar for me. I want to see him have a fair crack of the whip over a decent period of time. There is no relegation and, therefore, we should not hurry to damn an up-and-coming British coach. And let's judge him when he's putting out the team that we have invested in. No-one is asking how well all of the other teams are doing without two of their best signings. If our two were here we'd be a better team: if we knew they weren't coming we might have been able to spend the money elsewhere. At the moment, a large part of the salary cap is just not generating anything for us on the pitch. Take a couple of spark-plugs out of your car and see what happens.

Snap. I always say people should ignore performances of players, and even coaches, at Wigan as barely anyone goes there and improves/replicates their success before going.
We need a tough, no nonsense coach from down under who will be able to judge players on their ability and not on reputation. I doubt we will do this though and would probably go for the cheap option if Agar did go. Although if the cheap option was Terry Matterson I would be very happy

Where is Brian Smith these days? He did a great job for Hull when he was here the last time and I'd love to see him back but can't see it happening.

Even if he didn't, at least he'd be a constant source of entertainment himself.
Personally I would love to see Kearney take over. The players wouldn't dare turn in the same shambolic performances with him waiting in the dressing room for them. Back in the real world, it will be Sharp whether we like it or not.

| If the time comes i would like the club to appoint the best coach that is available and wants the job, f**k thinking about the financial side of it,the coach is the most important part of any club and deserves to a certain extent (without taking the mickey) the amount he is paid.
But i still think Richard Agar would make a great assistant and in time a great coach,it is just maybe a little too early for him,
i hope and fingers crossed this is just a blip and he proves a lot of us wrong.
