Well said Dave. In football, Mourinho and Wenger didn't have glittering playing careers but went on to be successful managers. |

To be fair to Knocker, he never pretended he could coach. I once asked him what he'd do once he hung up his boots, his answer was: "pot man (glass collector) in some boozer" |
