I also like the fact that he used an actual photo of himself as his avatar. What a goof!!!

| Does anyone know what Allam's end game is now? Looking unlikely he'll get the stadium, seems focused on sing off the fanbase. City look safe for another year. Are there any rumours he might sell? Can't fathom out what his plan is.

Nobody has a clue!
The club are in more debt now than they were when he took over so if he decided to sell he'd loose money. Saying that I can't see when he would want to keep hold of the club, he's not a football fan, he won't get the stadium and now the fans hate him.
His ego and arrogance have got him into a tough position, hopefully whatever he decides won't damage the club in any way.

Whatever he decides has already hurt the club.... the city....the citizens...... and anyone else that should ultimately stand in his way.....I just hope that our lease and future renewal are cast in stone beyond his reach. I could be harsher towards him but my history regarding him will not allow it.

Top 5 or 6.
Top 5 is a big ask IMO, as it means getting ahead of at least one of Saints, Wigan, Warrington, Leeds and Hudds.
There's no reason why we couldn't get 6th - But Hull, Salford and Catalans will be thinking the same. At least one of the 'second-tier' won't even make the play-offs (unless one of last season's top 5 has a very, very bad season by their own standards). There often isn't much between teams in mid-table, and Rovers, Salford and Hull have made a lot of changes that are hard to gauge at this stage.

I know what you mean.
But talking about aiming for 5th/6th is a realistic admission that we're unlikely to smash through the glass ceiling. We're rolling a lot of dice, so you never know - though of course that cuts two ways. The same is true for Hull. It's an enormous challenge.

I know what you mean.
I agree 6th is realistic for both Hull clubs, but Catalan have added a few decent signings and there good home form should make them favourites for 6th.
Salford are a difficult one to gauge, as they have signed some very temperamental players like Chase & Hock, they could look like world beaters one week, then create tabloid headlines for off the field stupidity the next. I think Noble will steer them to 8th though.
if any top clubs are going to drop off the pace I think it could be Leeds or Wire. Leeds key players are now over 30 and Wire have lost key leaders like Morley, Hodgson & Briers. Both will still be a threat on their day and in the Playoffs though.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |

| Interesting comment by Liverpool's manager today regarding the Cardiff "saga"...
Quote: saga ""My only conclusion when I look from the outside is you've got a business guy operating the club who obviously knows nothing about football.
"He's obviously been a very successful business man in his life, but football is like no other business." '"

I feel sorry for Cardiff fans, they've already had their history disregarded with the change of kit, now their owner is driving out the one man that can keep them in the PL.
In fairness, the manager should never have said he wanted to sign players without checking that funds would be available before hand, he has already spent £50 million this year which was the 7th highest in the PL.

And the owner will have signed off on every penny spent
