I'll let you into a little secret mate. This is an internet forum. No one has any credibility, everyone has opinions. If you don't like mine, or the way I convey them then I don't really care.

I think that is the problem, really the board should have stuck with Kear they were too hasty and I think they know that and even with Sharp in my opinion. This time they have decided to give the coach a fair crack at last, the only problem is it was the totally wrong appointment, I really dont see what giving him 8 games at the start of next season is going to achieve its just going to set us back even futher.

Kear went at the right time, Sharp was the one who wasn't given enough opportunity, but he wanted to start the clear out a long time ago.

And the terrible irony is that that is why he was brought in. They wanted him to impose what the board thought was a much needed discipline to the club (allegedly).

Maybe they realize that now and are "using" agar to do it as he knows the players better than most. It happens a lot in business were someone is used to do the restructuring before being restructured themselves.

What if we lose our last 4 games and end up in a (hypothetical) relegation position as we did last year, and one place worse. 11th last year 12th this, there isn't a board in SL that would put up with this, except ours.
IF there was relegation last year he would have gone, but they allow him another season and he's failed again, ok injuries have had an impact so have other teams.
His decisions against Huddersfield, shifting Thorman to FB, and his rotation of Radford and Burnett was astoundingly inept, If we lose our last 4 games, the board have no other option as I think that the crowd will be the lowest of the season v Bradford and those that will be there will make so much noise towards Agar and the board that they will HAVE to do something about it.

I reckon the decision has already been made to give Agar the start to next season with "his team". I don't think it will matter if anyone makes a noise...

Don't kid yourself.
What realistic difference will losing the last 4 games make? Most people have given up on this season already, so I can't even see it making that much difference to pass sales.
Agar will be here next season come what may IMO.

To be honest, as much as I'm ashamed to say I want us to lose I've been hoping since the Rovers game that we lose the rest of our matches in the (admittedly faint) hope that he gets sacked. I think it's more likely (although still very remote) that if we do lose the rest of the games, Agar will finally accept for himself how e he is and do the decent thing and walk.

This is undoubtedly true. I think he'll be given 8-10 matches. The question is, does the club have a plan for replacing him if it doesn't work out in the first part of next season? By a plan I don't mean sacking him. I mean have they tried to identify potential suitable replacements? There would be no point in just sacking him and replacing him with Sharp/Crooks/Last on a caretaker basis or otherwise.
