| I also fail to see whats Heremia brings to the team, Ok he is better than Nicklas at hooker, but that doesn't say much.
Looks like another average overseas signing by the previous regime.

| Quote: Zuider "Don't think you could have asked more from the team tonight. Wigan away isn't the best of fixtures for us at any time, let alone all of the injuries before and during the game.
We were no match for Wigan, but we never gave up, and I cannot fault the effort.
Lynch, Green and Watts (until he was injured) worked their socks off, and Manu looked class.
If I have to be critical, then I would have to say Seymour was disappointing - was hoping he would rise to the occasion. Also felt O'Meley didn't match the efforts of some of the other forwards.'"
Good summary pretty much how I saw it.

He looks lost, there's no half to combine with.

They definettly did't look bigger, watch them come out the tunnel,, it give me a bit of positivity, thought we looked slot bigger than them, that positivity soon disappeared, not sure some people's negativity towards Seymour tonight, no worst than anyone else IMO

I thought Seymour went OK early season and defended him but now I hope he is leaving because his recent efforts have been below par and I can understand why Longy has tweeted that. I reckon some of the other Hull players would agree with it.

He's a SL assistant coach - unprofessional in my book. - he hardly ripped up any trees at our club.

| Well I can't say I've ever been quite so upbeat after such a massive defeat as I am tonight.
By my reckoning we had Turner, Tickle, Moa, Horne, Houghton, Sharp, Martin and Crooks out before the game. We then lost Yeaman, Pitts and Watts during the game and Manu, Westerman and Whiting came into it playing injured. Whiting them picked up a head knock. We're sure to lose Westerman to a ban for next week as the quest to turn this into a non contact sport continues. We're playing the best team in the league who race into a big early lead. We concede on the first set on a penalty that was actually a knock on.
And yet at the end we're still there, still trying, still mucking in, fans singing their hearts out, Watts on the bench begging to come back into a lost cause with his knee strapped.
I found a lot of it reassuring. You can buy all the players you want within the salary cap but you can't buy ethos, attitude and commitment and it's those three things we've lacked. They're starting to trickle back in.
Well done Hull FC, we're getting there. Baby steps.

| Quote: Sheldon "I'd swap Briscoe and McGoldrick.
I don't know where I stand with Seymour, I can see why he's uninterested but he's still a professional.'"
McGoldrick gave 2 or 3 good passes, but other than that I thought he was a bit anonymous compared to the last 2 games. His kicking was also lacking, and Hughes went past him a bit too easily.
I thought Briscoe was one of the few who looked like he cause Wigan trouble, and his early fumble was a poor call from the ref IMO. Defensively he largely had as much chance as King Cnut with the Wigan tide heading towards him.

| First time I'm going to be negative about Seymour. I'm very disappointed with his defence.
There was a lot of praise for him early season as been a good defender 'for a halfback', but he is now poor in that area, in my opinion. Whenever he gets bounced off a tackle he just gives up. Puts very little effort in to track back and finish it off, and seems he'd rather just drift off to the side.

Welcome to Twitter. Everyone has an opinion these days that's the way of the world. What he did at our club is hardly relevant.
