We can argue all day about the elbows being deliberate or not (I think they were) but if the ref doesn't think they were then this isn't your standard RL fight it's a player attacking an opponent for no reason whilst he is in a defenceless position and warrants a red card. A player of Radfords experience should know better.

Just seen the attempted headbutt on Long, I hope its brought up by the RFL!

Also think Ablett should have gone for ten, clearly steps across Horne after chipping over, Smith was about to blow for it, then played on as Long picked up loose ball and Leeds then knocked on!!!
Watching game again, think he can't keep up with pace of it,!!!!

We can only hope that the Disciplinary Committee do not rush to judgment in the same way that Mr Smith did and consider all the evidence before making a decision and handing out punishments.

It is appparent from Radford's good disciplinary record over many years that he does not (despite what Maclennan says) attack an opponent "for no reason".

Surely they will watch the full incident and if nothing is done would prove RFL blindness and double standards

Played the advantage correctly in my view. One of the few things he got right. We ended up with the ball 5-10 yards further on. No need to penalise in our favour.

Radford has been charged with a Grade A offence so it must be one of :

reaction to opponent - lashing out (possibly)
Punching - self defence (possibly)
Punching - minor (hardly)

which suggests the panel don't think it was unprovoked or he would have been charged with something more serious.

The guideline sentence is sending off sufficient/no further action to a one match ban.
