Just seen the Knight red card on X. Definitely shoulder to shoulder contact. You can clearly see he doesn't make contact with the head from one of the camera angles
And yet Aaron Moore claims “it’s a clear and direct shoulder to the head”? Getting fed up of officials saying things that just aren’t true. Same with the knock on at the end which clearly went backwards.

We played poorly but still only lost by virtue of a missed conversion despite playing half of the game a man down. If Knight didn't get sent off we likely win. Same performance either way.
It wasn't great with 13 v 13 but we'd started to get on top and could have won comfortably in the end.
I don't think things are as bad as some have convinced themselves
The key moment for me is the Cust no-try. If he grounds the ball we go in at the break 12-8 up and, more importantly, those two minutes of madness hasn't happened. In that scenario I think we ease away to a comfortable win. Huddersfield were still poor even with the man advantage. Even playing with a man down all it would have taken is one half break in that last twenty minutes and we come away from the afternoon with two scrambled points and we're still inside the top four. Whatever the circumstances it's still annoying that we let it slip through our fingers. On that showing Huddersfield aren't going to be winning too many games this year even with players returning from injury. They looked clueless for large parts of yesterday. But we still need to get back to winning ways as soon as so this doesn't turn into a developing rot.

If we sort out the discipline and ball control we'll be much better. We only lost by virtue of a missed goal kick yesterday despite being a mand down for half the game and putting i probably our worst display of the season.
Add in 2 x centres at 2nd row and a winger and full back in the centres and you can see why it's not great right now.
We desperately need some 2nd rowers back.
My other concern is overplaying herman and Knight which is bound to catch up with us at some point, although Knight likely to be having an elongated break now
At least we're not getting hammered every week
Cartwrights use of our bench is interesting... I don't think he rates our bench forwards which is leaving Herman, Knight, Asiata and Bourouh to do massive minutes.
Aydin made 2 carries for 7m yesterday. Without the ball, he's a decent player, but with the ball, the stats speak for themselves. Obviously doesn't think Wainhouse is ready yet.

| I'm also starting to think burough is just another Danny Houghton. Decent defence but not offering enough in attack and distribution from dummy half is hit and miss

| Bourouh will be fine if he is spelled and calms down a bit, got a decent scoot and can set up a near the line, just not an 80 minute player. Is there another hooker in SL who regularly plays 80 mins at hooker.
Not sure what our obsession as a club is with it.

| No further action for Knight. Basically reads as not even a red card offence. While reckless and idiotic of himself to even give the referee something to look at, can't help but feel hard do to again now.

| Sam Eseh charged with a Grade C head contact = five points and a fine.
No further action for Liam Knight.

| Matty English and Sam Hewitt both given grade Bs. Anybody know if these were the 2 crushers tackles? The ones we never even got given a penalty for? I can't remember who actually did them.

| Regarding Bourouh, Cartwright explained it post match. We’re down on back row. If we put Balmforth as sub ( I know some rate him but he’s still clearly not match fit enough). Then that weakens the pack options. Cust is the back up 9 option. We simply don’t have enough depth at the moment hence why bourouh is having to play full game. Last 2 games in particular show how lightweight we are in back row.
