Not sure they would have stayed up had Radford still been there. The signs were there last season as to the similarity to how Cas were to us during the last 2 seasons under Radford. He seemingly got his band back together and had seemingly not learnt from the mistakes he made with us. I be forever grateful for the 2 Wembley wins but think it was the players rather than Radford that we achieved those.

Think Last has bitten more than he can chew such are the state Cas are in, really do fear for them.

Last won back to back challenge cups at Wembley with his beloved Hull Football Club. And he'll have a few bob in the bank from this job. He'll be doing fine. No sweat of his sack.

When Radders went there he ended up on changing room painting duty. You could see then that they were on the slide. Their star player, the Yorkshire rimmer, then set the tone for this season for them. The club is in a mess. It all went downhill the week of the Grand final when Hardaker got suspended. They never recovered from that.

Time will tell but for me the wrong decision by Rovers to rest a full team. Often does more harm than good. Look how flat and disjointed both us and Huddersfield looked last week after a week off. They've took a pasting tonight and took a huge hit to their points difference in a league that is already so tight. Resting a few players is fine, but a whole team is too excessive. They have to win next week, or little Willie will look a bit of an idiot.
Also hearing mutterings that Abdull will play next week which would just be ludicrous if true. To throw a player in after months out and months ahead of schedule would be a disaster waiting to happen.

I don't think it will make a difference. A cup final is about who turns up on the day. I think both sets of players will be determined to be at their best in a final. You don't really need any motivation. The team talks will be about going out and enjoy the occasion. The team that can handle the occasion best will win it. I think it's an intriguing contest without the big dogs at the table. Hopefully they will produce a nail-biting final.

Having met Andy he’s a really good guy but he was and is never a first team coach.
As for kr they made a really big gamble tonight complete opposite to leigh playing their first team.
A little part of me would like to see kr get the monkey off their back as we had to for so many years. Yet kr as a club are so grubby , I just want leigh to win.
