True and were clutching at straws
I just started following his dad and he immediately followed me back knowing I’m an FC fan.
That is a good sign?

| We need to get Stavely in the team, there's only one way we'll find out if he's good enough. He's been impressive at Newcastle by all accounts, plays good minutes and he's got some size, let's face it he can't do any worse than lane at the minute.

If he plays on Friday then maybe a sweetener

Isnt he more of a loose forward? Crying out for a specialist one rather than square pegs in round holes. Would like to see us stop shifting players around so much Fash , Sao and Lovodua prime examples.

On the newcastle team sheets and highlights he looks to be playing in the second row, on the hull website he's listed as a prop but then in the biography it says second row or loose forward, so christ knows

So where would you advocate Lovodua plays? Too small for the pack, not good enough for halfback or hooker and too slow for wing or centre. Total waste of cap space.

| We have history in releasing very good youngsters . We cant keep everybody but I'd be disappointed to see Staveley leave .

There you go again, you’ve really got your hooks into a coach whose been brought in to chop out the dead wood and malaise in this shocking squad of has beens. Oh and your latest flame Hoy, a kid whose travelled halfway around the world to ply his trade, played 7 and got an injury, yet you’ve dismissed him already. You’re pessimism’s shocking, bet you haven’t got a pass and never have had, just a huge draw full of odd socks because the others are stained and holed.

The very good youngsters were released because we probably had 2 or even 3 players in front of them. Jex Litten and Abdul who had their chances and failed miserably, then went to a team struggling and eventually grew in confidence under Tony Smith. Who are these very good youngsters and where are they now?

Has Lovodua played enough games at hooker for us to come to the conclusion he isn’t good enough?
For me that is the only position for him. Like to see him given a run of games spelling with Dwyer to see how that works. If he isn’t happy with that then his contract should be ripped up.

I like many others was very pleased to see Tony Smith at the club
My point is and you surely cant disagree is that given he has had a full pre season with the players we have seen nothing on the field from his coaching apart from the players going rapidly backwards
There are some decent players in there so what has happened?
All i said about Hoy was he has been disappointing so far at full back.Nothing else.
If he comes good later in the season then great but as i said when Litten went to full back recently for a short period i saw more from him than Hoy
