If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...: |

On paper they are better then bottom 3.
As a team they clearly aren't!
Huddlestone, Livermore, Ramirez, Jelavic, Hernandez, Davies, Dawson, McGregor and Robertson.
Not too shabby on paper.

| With Redknapp going QPR have gone from relegation certainties to another team City have to worry about.

And they're saying today that they hope to have a new manager in time for their game at City. What are the odds that the new man gets their first away result in that game?

| Yes we should be concerned! Let's hope the FA stick to their guns and confirm their origial decision, not to allow Allams proposed name change. of Hull Cty Apparently the decision will be made next week. If the decision gowes against him then Allam is set to walk, after all, he never goes back on his word!!!!
Bye, Bye Allam........................

I would be amazed if the FA changed their minds, City are not a big club in Premier League terms and allowing them a name change would open the floodgates to sponsor names. If it was Man City's billionaire owners demanding to be called 'Etihad City' it might be a different matter, but the FA know that City are easily replaced by the likes of Derby, Middlesbrough etc if they go down.

And if they do go down it becomes a Football League issue, so presumably he'd have to start all over again

| Surprised no one has mentioned that fantastic result for City today, unlucky apparently not to beat arguably the Premierships best team, away from home. And now out of a relegation place. Lets hope for the sake of our City they manage to avoid the drop, whatever our views on wendy ball.

I went to the Etihad yesterday - my agent got me a couple of tickets in amongst the Man City supporters and I took my mate who is a massive Man City supporter (as well as Hull FC season pass holder). Because of the way I perceive FC is being treated by the Allams I went with my head saying that I wanted Hull City to lose. But, at the end of the day, my heart wasn't in it and when HCAFC scored it took all of my self control to keep quiet. When Man City equalised I was probably the only one in the stand that stayed on my seat. It was really difficult to cheer against them (actually impossible for me).
The stadium and set-up is incredible and the on-going developments in the area are beyond our wildest imagining for Hull. However, I think there's a lot we could learn at the KC from their attention to detail and pre-match own-channel TV stuff - they even had capable staff in the bars on the concourse which meant that everyone in the queue was served quickly and efficiently (btw a pint was £4.00 as was a pie). I believe that's one easy way of increasing revenue at the KC.
Anyway, enough ramblings - Huddersfield here we come.

| Great point for City. Next five games pivotal.
Hull boss Steve Bruce will be offered £15m by Fulham to get them back into the Premier League, and owner Shahid Khan has West Ham's Sam Allardyce in mind should he fail to lure Bruce. According the The Sun.

| If this is going to be a general discussion about city (and not how it affects us) can we now move it to the 'Other Sports' section or lock this one as this is a rugby forum and general discussion about how well they are doing/how you got on watching them/buying tickets and which manager is being poached where isn't relevant to our club.

| Vital 3 points for City tonight, reckon they're looking like staying up now. Hypothetically with the extra cash from the new Sky deal they become more attractive revenue-wise now, so may attract more buyers - been on the market nearly a year now with no serious offers.
