Don't get too excited at least 6 will be announced in the next three weeks I am sure of that, but a lot have a clause in their contarcts about not naming their Club of destination until after the last game, unless their current Club give permission!

Heard in the queue this morning that Chase will be announced after the Cas game.

Murrell was a really good player back in 08/09, but Morgan messed him about moving positions, he put some weight on and hasnt been the same since.

I would also say there is no way Murrell wants to sign for Hull, he was crying at full time yesterday when the players were on the pitch.

He said that they wouldn't be announcing anything until after the deadline. People have taken that to mean that we would definitely be making announcements straight after the deadline, but he never actually said that.

he inferred it, he should know better with some people, personally I don't care when we announce.

Yes just checked a couple of articles and it says "we will announce in September when we can"

I just wanted to make the point that on no occassion has he said that tomorrow was the D day for 7 signings he said the 4th was the Deadline and that we would be announcing signings after that. All our players have clauses in their contrcat about gaining permission before they make personel public statements about departure etc during a season and its reasonable to expect others at other Clubs to have the same. There were reports on the other Rovers message Board of one or two of the best supporters in the world booing certain players after the game yesterday because they had announced they were leaving, so its easy tos ee why players like McDonnell etc don't want to commit anyway!

But the 4th isn't the deadline, the 1st is isn't it? AP has made his own announcing deadline, which happens to fall the day after season passes go on sale. If you're not going to announce anything on the 4th, why mention the date at all?

The way I look at is if we've made the signings that have been mentioned on here then AP has spent a lot of money on transfers so the guy can say what he likes when he likes as far as I'm concerned.

When has the club had this much investment in such a short period of time.

What's the difference if he names the players now or next week as long as there signed and will be in the Black & White shirt next season..
