Wouldn't be happy with McDonnell, although it would show how hard it is to sign good quality full backs or halfs.
I rate Watts and would be happy for him to replace O'Meley, not to bothered about Johnson.
Lovegrove is a good player, but i'm not sure where he'd fit in with us, i'd prefer to sign Walmsley.
If Moa leaves we'd have to spend big to replace him but I wouldn't be to keen on Brett Kite.

I'd take Lovegrove decent hard working player to replace O'Meley, Kite to replace Moa, Arundel to replace Turner and Ellis is already replacing Manu which IMO is two to three better replacements.

Looks like we aren't getting Russell for the rest of the season, but we might get him for another month, more likely a week to week deal.
Horne to FB then, interesting who they will play at 6, Westerman, Whiting, Nicklas or Ellis.

Im one of O'Meleys biggest critics but sign Lovegrove to replace O'Meley, are you mad? Lovegrove is at best average, offers very little impact and im sure hes a poor tackler too |

Not at all Lovegrove is Rovers top tackler and as a comparison he's made more tackles then Tickle and missed less. You say he also offers very little impact I'm a little confused where this comes from the guys a machine. |

He's a good player but not a 'impact' player like Moa or Paea. |

You do know that if you signed Lovegrove then he would be on your non-fed trained list? Any contract away from Hull KR means he gets taken off the home grown list and is put on the Non Fed trained list. This was dispensation given in 2007 as he was only 20 when he arrived at Rovers so was classed as home grown.
