| What was the attendance tonight? Looked very good on tv, with the West Lower quite full, I was thinking 16-17K. Surely this can't be righthttps://www.sportinglife.com/rugbyleague/results/rl

| reminded me of the wigan game tonight, gave up 3 soft tries and found it difficult to unlock a superior teams defence!

That looked about right. It's not often you (or us) get travelling support like that, but there was a good turnout of Hull fans too.

16,000 ish I think. The fullest North stand I've seen outside the derbies and all ground areas looked quite full. Great illustration for Pearson of the disconnect between the club's potential and the current on-field reality.

Do you mean in all SL seasons?
It was fuller for that mythical Bradford 19k+ game and it was fuller for the Wire (Andrew Johns) game aswell. I seem to recall the Wigan game in the season they should have been relegated it was pretty full aswell.
I did have a chuckle to myself that Wire brought about 300 last season on an Easter Monday but managed to bring about 10 times that many on a Friday Night.

| I thought we looked OK to begin with, but we are what we are, a mid table team playing against perhaps the comp's strongest side. There was a gulf in speed, both speed of thought and in a physical sense too. Warrington were clinical, they saw opportunites and recorded points; we tried gamely to bludgeon our way over but that is never going to win us a game against top 4.
But realistically who from our side would get in the Warrington side? I could only really make a case for Westerman for Anderson and Briscoe for Riley.

Tonight's 80 minutes was a perfect microcosm of the last four years under Agar

| The difference tonight wasn't strategy, coaching, motivation or tactics.
It was players.
Warrington simply have much better players than Hull. So much so they won by a distance whilst coasting through the game. For them the real battles lie ahead.
Warrington have a superb coach in Tony Smith and he is also a top top bloke. He knows that the first thing a top coach must do is get top players or he won't be a top coach much longer.
Your new coach will explain this to you, not now but somewhere into next season.

| Last 20 minutes of the first half ended the game for us, 18 points unanswered and all down to individual errors.

When will yours finally explain it to you?
Actually, a little dickie bird told me Pearson may already have explained it to those who need to know.
