Not a great signing but a useful one. I would say he is a better player than Fisher/Hodgson at Rovers so using him as hooking cover for Houghton would be an improvement on the squad. I am thinking purely in terms of this season.

Seems doubtful as his signing has been trailed for weeks and not one person has called him great so far.

Obst for a year would be a decent signing imo. Hes not a bad player and would put another pivot on the pitch, unless Agar plays him in the second row of course

So we'd rather sign Sam Obst for a year, than bring in a 22 year old gareth Moore who everyone can see has potenial and can learn from Longy.

Gareth Moore is rumoured to be a big mate of tanseys who also likes his beer, obst isn't the type of player I would be looking at bit unfortunately we have put ourselves in this position and we are rushing to sign somebody now, obst will do a job at the end of the day he's better than nothing!

Sam Obst is an Aussie though so that makes him great !

Why has it taken so long for Agar to realise he doesnt want Washbrook at 9. He must have knew when Berro left wether he wanted an other hooker to go along with Houghton and yet we still havent got one.

I said the main reason we lost yesterday was because we're a dumb team but i just think the full set up are so slow and thick.
