Yup he's not a good enough centre if we want to kick on next year. 2nd row? Maybe moving Fitz/Hame up to prop?

| Absolutely gutted. Much worse than Calders, Hall or Lynne, I'd rather even see us play Tuffour there. None of the ambitious Super League clubs would go near him with a barge pole. This said, Horne and Tansey will hardly get singled out for any abuse next year with this lump playing for us!

Interesting question. I can't see Fitz going to prop because he offers more than a bulldozing front-rower, and Hame seems to me to be a better 2nd-rower than prop although he is the more likely of the two. If we lose Radford and Dowes and don't sign two replacements (having lost Cusack as well) I would put Hame in the front-row, Fitz in the second-row and leave Whiting and Washy to fight it out at loose man (I know it won't happen but that's what these boards are for).
I suppose the alternative is to do the above but put Washy at 13 and let Whiting and Bam Bam fight it out for the remaining second-row spot.

If we dont have other props on the radar at the minute i'm sure we'll increase our offer to Radford or Dowes if they've not signed elsewhere.

maybe thats Agar plan, bring in a scapegoat to take the pressure off him and the rest of the team.
Seriously though, Expro has leaked this on here. Ask the question, would he do that if there was truth in the rumour and breach any confidences he's got with the club or would he try to do something as a wind up that will then make the actual signing look even better?

I hope for his sake he hasn't.

| I would rather we kept Hall/Calderwood that signed Pryce, a very bad signing if true. We dont have to pretend that he would be a 'decent signing' because theres a slight possibility that he'll sign for us, he would offer nothing to our squad.

i disagree about he offers nothing as he can cover centre and winger but he aint a great signing and should be only used as cover. id still like maybe a top centre/winger to come in with pryce, lyne as back up wingers

How long do we reckon Fitzgibbon will be playing next year though? If the idea is still as many minutes as possible, as it is with Tickle, that doesn't leave enough time for Manu IMO.
I'd sooner see Fitzgibbon move up to prop and play 40 minutes and leave the 2nd row as it is.

I still expect/hope that to be the case TBH. I'd sooner it be Dowes, as Radford's main sticking point seems to be the 2nd year and I'm just not convinced he'll be up to it.
