Tweaked to how I'd have it. If we got Lynch, either him to start and Fitzgibbon to bench, or directly in for Thackray. I do rate Thackray and would like to see him stay, the only reason I initially said I wouldn't mind him leaving was if it was because we got someone of Lynch's calibre. |

Lyon has repeatedly said he would rather not join another club than Saints. How much that statement is worth is open to debate. Although Lyon seems like one of the few players who put enjoyment before money. |

No seriously though if we signed someone with 'Meley's qualities, it would take alot of money to get him signed up. He is twice the player Thacks is (No disrepect) and is world class.
If we could keep both then I would love to, but If Mark was available and it meant releasing Thacks to secure the signing of O'Meley then I would jump at the chance imo.
As I said on another thread I would be happy with 2 workhorses 3 impact and 1 younger prop with the latter being Maloney.

Oh yes i agree, but that would mean getting rid of the only go forward we have at the moment. I think thacks would look alot better in a team with omeley in. I would be much happier to see King go before Thacks |
