| Hull FC can confirm that tonight’s fixture against Warrington Wolves is expected to go ahead as planned at the KCOM Stadium, kick off 7:45pm.
The club have been working closely with the Stadium Management Company throughout the week in preparation for the game, with the pitch and surrounding areas at the stadium not a concern.
Hull FC have also been in dialogue with Warrington Wolves, the RFL and Sky Sports with all parties keen for the game to go ahead as planned.
Due to the recent adverse weather conditions, it is the advice of both clubs that any supporters looking to travel any distance to the game that they allow extra time and take additional care on the roads.
The clubs are aware of the current closure of sections of the M62 and are monitoring the situation with the Highways Agency, whilst the majority of routes in Hull and the surrounding area are clear.
It is advised that supporters also keep themselves updated on highways closures/re-openings by checking online and social media.
Warrington Wolves’ official supporters coaches are still scheduled to leave the Halliwell Jones Stadium at 3:30pm.

Not going to be a classic game, lets face it.
The forecast is pretty similar to Leeds who have already postponed their game and who also have undersoil heating. Leeds will get an advantage ahead of next week game with a week to prepare and recover from injuries.'"
Its the surrounding area of Headlingley which causes issues, St Micheals Lane etc where many would try and park up.

The Headingley under ground heating is fully operational - see Leeds RLFC Website and YEP which reads:
Rhinos had been confident earlier in the week the game could beat the weather, but heavy overnight snow into yesterday meant they were fighting a losing battle. Emerald Headingley has undersoil heating which means the pitch would have been playable, but other areas of the stadium could not be cleared.Hetherington said: “The pitch is covered in snow at the moment, but it would be okay.

The undersoil heating was reinstated when they completely relaid the pitch a couple of years ago.

Some sensible forward thinking, that's a novelty in RL circles, well done to Warrington if that's the case.
My original train from Kings Cross was cancelled yesterday but I caught an earlier delayed train that meant I got to Donny only 40 minutes late and into Hull about 50 minutes late from schedule so not bad really. Doncaster to Leeds line was stuffed up yesterday morning/afty due to the overhead lines being buggered so folk were going via York.
Snow isn't the issue in England for the trains just the brakes freezing up and cables being affected by ice (AFAICT).
Think if we get switched on and ensure we control their forwards we stand a chance.
Not sure if Brown is playing after his head bang but apparently Lane is potentially in line for a run out for us.

| Warrington have cancelled their official supporters coach for tonight's game - advising that trains as still running ok getting to hull.
Getting back home might not be quite so easy.
22:33 train gets into Warrington at 06:24.
They're also offering refunds to anyone who has bought match tickets (and decides not to go).

| so the game goes ahead as long as the teams can make it - as usual the fans come a distant last. exactly the same as when we get messed around with games being rearranged for tv halfway through the season. warrington fans can get to the game on train but not back. people's game my a**e - the game should be called off

Difficult one for the Club (s) both obviously want to play and the visiting fans - probably maximum of 300 - still have an option to travel or watch the game on TV. The pitch playable, the paths cleared, the immediate road network to the ground ok and the surrounds passed safe - lets back the Club and get behind the boys.

| I don't think we could do with a back log of games to catch up with, especially if we get a good cup run

| We're doing everything we can to play the game tonight - nothing wrong with that.
But Warrington fans have effectively been excluded from the game because it will be almost impossible for them to get here safely.
And how many Hull fans have long journeys ahead of them to get to the game?

| Not sure how many Hull fans have long journeys ahead of them to get to the game but however many, they will be in the vast minority. Like I say a difficult decision to make, but do the Clubs call the game a game off when the pitch and surrounds have been passed fit and the vast majority of the support can attend and if not they can watch the game live on TV.
People have already travelled through form West Yorkshire to the game without a problem but realise that coming over the Pennines is a difficulty.
