Allam gave the council over 100 free tickets for the FA cup final....why would he do this when he hates the council so much???...there could be something in this....i think some digging around is required!!!

Personally I'd love the Council to sell to Allam and build us another at Costello. 14k is a bit small though, would prefer 18k

Wonder if this has legs seeing as City has just rammed up their season ticket prices by 30% .....maybe trying to gap a shortfall?

Typical FC fan snobbery thinking the club is bigger than it actually is. Attendances are falling rapidly just like performances yet most of the people on here are saying that 14K isn't big enough.

You know years ago when there was talk of this cancer at the club well I would say it goes as far as the spectators as well. Far too many fans think just because were well supported that were entitled to win the league just like the players do.

The club AND the fans need a serious rethink about they go about their business. The general air of cockiness and feeling that were better than everyone else is a cancer in itself that holds the club back more than I think people imagine.

We could actually learn a hell of a lot from our red n white neighbours about aspirations and being a club for the fans and the community

100 free tickets in exchange for a £50m stadium, the whole of west park and walton street and a 14,000 rugby stadium. Seems like a fine deal for the council to me

Where is the snobbery??.......if results improve people come back and for bigger games,it's too small. What could we learn??......how to go into debt building a stand that isn't even selling out,he'll..they can't get over 10,000 and they still have 1end open...if you like the aspirations they have...pi££ off and watch them, you won't be missed

This thread is .........BULLSHIT! No chance council would kop the bill for a stadium for us and Pearson isn't exactly 'rolling' in millions he could drop into a 14000 seater stadium, we're always going to be lodgers at city's stadium until Allam fooks off unfortunately. (Unless I get that big euro millions jack pot someday icon_wink.gif )

Won't happen but a 14k stadium that we had control over would bring in significantly more cash for the club than our current 25k one

And he turned down the offer of a Council managed open top bus trip round the City and City Hall etc. not exactly the actions of a man trying to get well in with the Council. This thread is just a load of rubbish I am sure that Adam would love a purpose built Stadium but no ones going to give him one and he can't afford one in reality can he. It aint gonna happen anytime soon! I would think that the reality of relegation and then how we manage to afford the KC is much more pertinent!

I would welcome it .
About a 15000 capacity all enclosed stadium , with terracing would be my choice.
Purpose built for RL on Costello , with a training ground next door .
Let Allam have the KC, and help fund our move to a new ground .
It is time that Allam , Pearson and the Council got together and sorted out any rifts between the relevent parties.
