Watching Cusack, Dowes and Radford over the past few seasons, I have to say all three constantly disappoint me. Defensively they are ok but they are painfully slow and do not carry it hard or fast. Radford always turns his back into the tackle, which is a strange habit and often he offloads in stupid situations. I couldn’t believe they gave him the contract extension last year. He also gives a lot of penalties away. Cusack is a professional but I’m glad he is retiring to be honest. Both him and Dowes are error free but they need to carry it harder. Too often they carry it up with a limp jog and then get put on their backs. They stand so shallow when taking a run and the lack of momentum is evident in the contact. I know they all give their best, but what we should be asking is, is there best good enough? We will never progress whilst we are retaining these sorts of players.'" '"
All three missed vital tackles in the middle of the park against Wire and Leeds that eventually led to our opponents scoring.

Big Sam had a good game but it wasn't the three you mention missing tackles or at least not just them. Turner was the biggest culprit and very disappointing with Lauacki missing some vital ones as well. Both players had hands on Senior and Maguire at various times and let them just walk through! There were times when other players , perhaps the three mentioned , were trying to cover these busts and probably failing. The main problem though was when we slide we don't move up and when we move up we don't slide. Certainly at Leeds we left Leeds with space in front of them which you just cannot do.

Agar prefers consistancy, players that are consistantly average. I've got nothing against Radford, Dowes or Cusack but to see them all turn out together shows a complete lack of ambition. We will never be anything better then average with Agar in charge, big Sam and our squad deserve a better coach.

| Not a fan of Cussack but this may be the game he craves, had his best game for a long while against Rovers and his best game ever for the club was the semi win over Wakey.
Dowes defense was awful on sunday, cant believe he only missed 3 to be honest, we were commenting on it a lot on sunday.

| If Moa misses out it just adds more weight to the anti Agar supporters. Unlike when Whiting was dropped to the bench after having a MOM performance it was understandable due to Tansey being our specialist FB. Dowes/Cusack are just props at the end of the day and if another prop is doing a far better job then it is just common sense to drop one of the ones not playing so good.
We looked a much better outfit when he was on the pitch and he was always looking for the ball as well as doing a grand job in defence. Previously i agreed with Agars insistence on playing Dowes/Cusack/Radford but Moa has certainly proved he deserves to be in the 17 on merit alone.
