Bets on players not taking part in the match will be void, as will bets where the selection comes on after the first goal is scored, regardless of whether the player scores in the game. Each-way bets are settled at 1/3 odds for unlimited places in 90 minutes play. Bets are settled on the actual number of goals scored; where no goals are scored bets are losers. No extra payments will be made where an individual player scores more than one goal. Own goals do not count. Each-way bets placed on goalscorers who come on after the first goal is scored will be void, regardless of whether the player scores in the game.'"

| Ladbrokes betting rules
First try scorer betting
Penalty tries do not count. In rugby league, where an 'interchange' system is used, bets are accepted 'all in play or not'. In rugby union, bets will be void if a player has not entered the field of play when the first try is scored.
This is very strange,how can union and league have different rules when it comes to first try scorer  |

I will be there - the Ebor is an excellent festival with some top class racing, only slightly spoiled by adding in an extra day (not that anyone goes on the Friday). Still, the important races are on the first three days - Ebor Handicap is a particular favourite (remember Purple Moon last year), closely followed by the Juddmonte (great race for Frankie).
Not studied form this year yet (too busy with the Olympics), but you can guarantee I will have my head buried in the Racing Post for the next few days.
Oh, and Ladies Day is nice as well. |

DofM is in superb form this season, and already knows the course after running there last year. Not sure about the course though - a lot of rain is forecast over the next few days - wouldn't want it to end up as a quagmire. Current odds (4-6) don't favour the casual punter - maybe New Approach (6-1) or Lush Lashes (12-1 E/W) offer better value providing they both run.
Usually you see me in The Bay Horse on the way to the course - if you wear your Hull top I might buy you a pint if I see you in there. |
