1) HISA officials to oversee the meeting under there rules.....
a statement of HISA';s current rules status, membership, and accounts would be handy.

Correct to a point! That point being that they are currently two organisations, so there are two places however if they were to amalgamate into one Independant supporters organisation then there would only be one place as the constitution of FC Voices states,

" (ii) Member organisations will decide their own representatives. One representative only per organisation will be allowed at any meeting".

As for you making sure the place was kept vacant that is also true but to a certain extent irrelevant because the same constitution states that there is always a place at the table for a representative of any bona fide supporters organisation.

What if they dont merge but create a working partnership



Maybe time to relook at the consitiution too, becuase surely if the fans organisations become strongerm there will be less need for individuals on the FC voices commitee

Can't make the meeting due to work commitments but reading Hutchies sig, I think a supporters trust is the way forward we need to work with the club not against it.

What about me? Would I have to be on the Committee of a new group to make sure the disabled fans are represented?(Not that I think it will come to it anyway

If a fans group could get over 2000 members, that would represent approx 1/6th of the average support would it not, so surely deserves 2 places of the 12 or so on FC voices.

Id also question why they need 9 (hope ive counted right) non representative persons on it. Not counted Rich as i know he represents out of town fans

FC Voices isn't a representative body, so none of that is relevant.

Exactly the constitution is not for a member body it is for a group of fans that try their best to help other fans get the most out of supporting their club. As such proportional representation does not come into it because there are no members to judge a proportion of!! Its fine it works.

One representative per organisation is as the group is constituted and unless the members feel that has become obsolete then it stays as it is, simply because its fine and it works.

The fact that when HISA used their place on the group, more often than not no one turned up anyway!

As an asside I would think that an independant supporters group would need at least twice that number of members to be taken seriously by the club, particulally if the leaders were, before it had even been formed, overly concerned about the amount of power and representation they had on other fans organisations!

There are far bigger fish to fry than that, and already it would appear that you are getting bogged down in power issues! Perhaps, just perhaps the new ISA may just need the support of FC Voices and all the other fans organisations in the first instance without allianating them before they even get started!
