I will start to do this for every match, but it shows that the work is spread evenly amongst the forwards. Really think Bowden needs to improve in attack, running on to the ball and he will make more metres, especially as one run probably accounts for around 15 of those metres when he carried some defenders with him. If he isn't going to make yardage, then he needs to find his front quickly, or get an offload away

Other than taylor, none of our forwards are stepping up to the mark consistently. We need 3 or 4 forwards doing 100+m every game. watts has made nearly 300 in his 2 cas games and we have no one anywhere near that in our corresponding fixtures.

I also agree with another poster about aggressive defence. We're too easy to make soft metres against meaning we end up defending our own line too much which results in added pressure

Taylor was the only forward who came out with any real credit, Bowden poor, Green Ok, Paea poor. Cant remember any of the back rowers doing anything - did we have any lol? Most of the backs were decent but as a whole we was championship level for large periods of that game but mostly when Houghton wasnt on.

Yeah because 14 games over 4 years with most of them even into last year was not getting much actual game time at all is going to give us a true indication of how suitable he is or how he might progress. Written off at 22, it seems to be the way these days
