Happy that the club is maintaining its silence at this stage and letting the fans vent their anger. It's more powerful than the club saying that they don't want to pay for the privilege. Even more so when the perpetrator has laughably claimed in the past that he wants to give something back to the people of Hull. Frankly the Council should insist that both tenants are represented equally in the stadium in all aspects - not just memorabilia - and that the likes of pictures and decor are outwith commercial agreements since they provide a heritage angle to some of the City's sporting greats and achievements. As has been stated if this can't be achieved then close inspection as to the reasons for the worrying decline in the state of the SMC's financial situation should swiftly follow.

Conflict of interest was always at some point going to be a problem and that problem has now surfaced thanks to the change in ownership of City/SMC.

Quite simple for me - take a can of spray paint to the next Fc home game and give the walls a bit of paint which the Allams can pay to have cleaned off !

To be perfectly Honest the whole point of this which has actually annoyed me is what they have done with the Suite named after Johnny Whiteley.

Now my understanding is all the photo's of Johnny in that Suite where actually placed there by the Council not Hull Fc, so it Annoys me that the Allam's are actually trying to charge us for something that wasn't anything to do with the club in the first place.

Someone earlier in the thread mentioned the publicity photos on display of BonJovi, REM, Under 21 England Team etc. Can anyone confirm that they are actually still there? I don't recall seeing them, but then I am not particularly observant. I am in the process of firing off a few e-mails at the moment, so I will include a question asking who is paying for their inclusion. Can't see Jon BonJovi posting a cheque to the SMC every year.
