In any case, Sharp's defence is fine except under the high ball. Our other winger also has issues with kicks but never gets the same abuse for it from fans.

Decent performance, patchy at times but what we needed on what sounds like a horrible night.

I was delighted with the attitude at the start it was exactly what was required for this game and we got it. It put them on the back foot and they never really looked like catching us.

Sharp is much better player than Hall, he is much better going forward, Hall scored a wonder try every 10 games, but that was it.

Our other winger has improved massively at this over the last 18 months.

Pretty much sums it up for me. Maybe slightly disappointed that we didn't capitalise fully on our excellent start but given the injuries to Obst and Yeaman - our only organiser and our top try scorer - I'm not unhappy.

Maybe but Cas are/were a decent side and Wire have put 62 on them. We need to be doing that sort of thing to the sides below us, regardless of who they've beaten.

I'm happy with the 2 points btw but we're still making mistakes that could cost us (and its also a good sign that I'm thinking that we might be in a position to lose something this season!)

To be fair to Hall, that seems to be more down to an alleged fall out with Morgan. Ask the dobbins fans, they've been happy with his performances.
