| Quote: Sebasteeno "Really?
So as one of the best supported clubs in the uk with a load of die hards who buy every bit of merchandise, every shirt that comes out you think that Pearson ploughs loads of his own money in even now? Yes maybe at first he did but i dont think he does anymore. Remember when Kath was at the helm the club made money every year and people used to complain that directors were taking dividends and not putting money back into the club. So now Pearson is in charge and we dont make money and he has to plough cash in? The only reasons i can think of this are his none stop f()()k ups with training grounds, management/coaching appointments'"
We made money every year under Kath & Co because they spent zip on youth and infrastructure. Pearson turned that around. And for the couple of years running up to the sale we made very little money anyway.
You haven't addressed the key point - where is a buyer going to come from who would be an improvement over Pearson?

And Allam doesn't hate us - we are merely an obstacle that needs removing as we are part of the barrier between him and the money, I mean, the stadium. We have become the enemy in the same way that the council have - we are stopping him getting what he needs - that would be the case whoever owns us. Allam has no regard in business for anyone other than himself - you'll be telling us he's a genuine Labour party supporter next.'"
Allam has pledged £1M for a reason..... probably to enable peer
pressure from Labour HQ on Hull CC...

| Quote: Dave K. "What a brillant post, all we need is a multi millionaire willing to put 2/3 million of his own money into the club and the continue to put about 500k each year to keep the club going.
I said it before and ill say it again, without Pearson we not have a club or would be in the same position as Bradford, he will act if things don't improve even if that's means going bad on his Radford promise.'"
As opposed to what? It's his organisation, he 'owns' it, he runs it, it should be his money put into it. That said show me where Pearson has lost this 'money' out of his own pocket, he has 'invested' in the club, he hasn't 'lost' anything, just his clueless decisions will take a dent in his profits or take longer to recoup.
Or are suggesting he is a benefactor doing it for the love of our club??

| Pearson put complete faith in McRae and his advice - I believe that was his main mistake. But he has always acted in good faith and with the belief that he was doing the best for his investment. Leeds was the Hetheringtons' main priority and everything, including us, was a means to securing the best end with Leeds in mind, in my opinion.

Indeed....
AP previously stated, Hull FC was for sale for a very long time,
before he bought it...
I dont see anyone buying it.. anytime soon..
Pearson's only fault, is his failure to appoint a proven Head Coach -IMO

That i cant answer. For years lots of fans including yourself have peddled this fear of the unknown thing (infact maybe you was right as we replaced Kath with Pearson) yet thats the sort of negative approach that stops anything or anyone from moving forward. If someone did come in and buy us then surely we cant get any worse? BUT we could get better

You obviously didn't get the point I was trying make so I will make it simple for you, if he leaves, who has the money (3 million) to run the club and continue to invest off the field and on paying 6 figure fees for players.
If you think AP has lost any money you are not very bright, even if he sold it for what he paid I would bet him is very out of pocket.

It's not fear of the unknown - it's logic. I've no qualms whatsoever about Pearson leaving if a better owner takes over, but the fact is that Kath was trying to sell the club for years before Pearson obliged. This isn't Soccer and there simply aren't many potential buyers out there. And yes - things can always get worse. According to you they already have once.
Imagine this - Pearson gets royally fed up and sells the club to the Allams. I think we can all agree that would be an unmitigated disaster? And not even far fetched.
And with all due respect, how does a discussion on here influence anything at all one way or the other?

The club has lost £800k since AP took over, and that's up to 2013, accounts for 2014 due in the summer, but seeing that 2013 were significantly better than run rate, fair to assume the net impact so far is £1m. He owns the club 100%, so yes, it's all loss that he's bearing.

Yet made money before he came in. Does he use Allams accountant too?

Pretty much all clubs lose around half a million a year. As Kosh says, the club was up for sale for years. Is there a queue of successors willing to invest this amount year in, year out? Your gung-ho rhetoric needs to be underpinned with a credible funding alternative. Let's be having it.

We had gates of 14k back then, a few finals, no investment in youth and Pearson's copped for tax liabilities, remember? Sounds right to me that we're in line with other clubs.

| pearson is suffering from knowing nothing about the game. he's made 2 poor decisions in listening to mcrae and then radford, both of whom have led him up the garden path for different reasons. Having said that, he is intelligent and has run a sporting club before so why he thought an assistant coach with barely 12 months experience had sufficient knowledge and skills to turn around our rapidly sinking ship I don't know and he only has himself to blame. He doesn't have much time to act IMO and needs to consider his next move very carefully.

Exactly, THE CLUB reported these figures..how much of that is out of APs own pocket..none of it. Do you not understand how business works when you are the owner and are 'investing' money over medium to long periods of time? I'll give you a bit of a hint, one of the clue's is INVESTING. You don't know about how owners draw money from their own companies? Do you know anything about offsetting losses?
clearly not a clue despite all your previous so called 'knowledge' of all things accounting
