“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club.
Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

Again, how is Kearney proven in the SL competition?'"

I agree I would be happy with one of those.
Although I'm sure Folkes is involved with cricket now.
Neil Henry would be a pretty good appointment too.
Where is Millward at now? Last time I remember he was assistant at Cowboys?

Kearney is unproven in SL and isn't doing that great ATM.
Noble hasn't achieved much with Wigan.
Tony Smith? Maybe. He's certainly achieved more, but with much better players and a larger budget.

Haslers future was unsure at the beginning of the NRL season, there was alot of things happening at Manly with the owners etc and jobs weren't safe. Although it seems as though that has all been resolved now, so not much chance of him been released.
As I said earlier Folkes is away from the sport now and has a role in cricket. still he doesn't play much exciting rugby either, so he would of suited our boring style. He was a coach who used to play with a 'rush defence' while at the Doggies which proved to be pretty effective. Something I would like to see us use.

Hull FC had and still do have the very same budget that Leeds have whilst T Smith was at Leeds - therefore not sure of your point about better players and more money. A great coach will soon become the only X factor in SL as salary cap really kicks in.
Berro played under Bennett and I think he feels the current HULL coach couldn't be the kit man at Broncos

Ummm - you do realise that I was comparing Smith to Morgan, don't you? I mean, Morgan was mentioned in the post I quoted and everything. Why would you think that I was trying to draw any parallels with FC?

There are lenty of coaches I would tale above Agar and Sharp, Neil Henry is certainly one of the better coaches in the world, can't see him coming over here though.

Yeamo Yeamo Yeamo!!!!: |

| I am not one for posting on here too often I just tend to read what everyone else puts, but I thought I would just say this:-
For all these that are saying Berrigan is leaving or Berrigan has had a fall put, blah, blah, blah I think it is complete and utter tosh
I was at the races today supporting Richard Horne in his testimonial year and it was great to see none other then Mr Berrigan stood along side the rest of the players there and Mr Agar.
Ok he never moved from the private box to mingle with people in the crowd, but he was there laughing and joking along with Horney, Washy, Houghton, Whiting, Lee, Hall just to name afew.
But I did'nt see any other of the aussies there, so what does that say about them???????

Kearney isn't doing that great at the moment - where?
With New Zealand? The reigning world champions who, granted, were well-beaten on Friday yet performed better than they did in the same fixture a year ago. Personally, the talk of Wayne Bennett is nonsense. Ask Inglis, Blair, Mannering even Leuluai who did the majority of the coaching at the WC.
Or with the Storm - who won well in Sydney yesterday and have been getting better and better ever since Finch signed, which they said they would.
How Kearney isn't doing that great at the moment is lost on me.
