Regardless of injuries we had more then enough in our squad to beat Quins the other weekend. If the team is organised, well drilled and motivated it is easier to compensate for injured players, we are none of these things. I watched the Broncos beat the Storm at the weekend with 7 players aged 21 or younger, they performed no different to the star studded team of a few years ago. Leeds and Saints have their own playing style that rarely alters and their youngsters fall nicely into those systems. I have seen nothing at our club to suggest we have any on field structure whatsoever, no wonder our young talent struggle when the experienced players look lost.

What i'm wondering is wether players who arent very happy are more likely to pick up 'knocks' than happy players. If you catch my drift

It is a lot to do with bad luck ..Its like people falling in the Street or tripping up 9 out of 10 people could walk over a loose pavement stone and not fall..1 person could fall and not get hurt but there again another person could fracture they arm ..Look at the teams who have start badly with players getting injured ..Hull problem the players injured are pivotal players Saints/Leeds/Quins/Catalan Wakefield all have had those players out at the same time and struggled ..just the luck of the draw ..Coaches will play they best players and if a player up his hand up to play from a fans point of view good on him,, our problem our back up players are not up to the standard but they are the main part of the team ..The Coach say some are giving their best other are not ..Fans can say the other are not good enough What next season some more clear out

When you ski , if you fall happy and loose you get far less injured than tense apprehensive fallers .
Happy winning players do much better

after seeing horne is out for six to eight weeks, with injuries sustained at majic weekend along with, luaki and manu, its safe to say its nothing to do with our pitch, i didnt believe that anyway as wigan and huddersfield dont suffer as we do, this has to be down to the conditioning of our players, at training, before and after the games, and the mentality of the players too, allowing themselves constantly to get domminated in tackles with the exception of moa who runs with agression and he dominates the opposition and consiquently wins the floor, with this current staff in charge of the club i see nothing changing, these injuries are certainly not all bad luck, not for 3/4 years running.

Rule says in effect we're just unlucky , our luck will change and what do the fans expect when we're playing with players equivalent to a £750,000 cap. We'd have been the first to complain if we hadn't spent up to the limit etc etc etc .

Think after more than 3 seasons its more than just bad luck though, and maybe some are down to poor conditioning?

Yes other teams also have injuries but not every season to the extent we seem to have. There comes a point when it is something other than just bad luck which for me is just a poor excuse and ignores the fact we seem to have a real issue in this area that we seem unable to or want to get to the bottom of as a club.

The response from Rule is disappointing. If he wants to be recognised as a professional administrator he should be looking beyond the obvious of bad luck.
Bad luck is only a part of the problem and it requires a professional Sports Injury Consultant to review all aspects of the injuries and the causes over the last three years. I struggle to believe we are not contributing in some way be it conditioning, preparation, tactics or player recruitment.

Seems ever since moved to the KC we have had trouble not just last few years can not be just bad luck as James the Fool implies ie:-Crowther and Tony Smith plus others

1, JR simply said it as it is and some always want a conspiricy which simply isnt there.

3, The reasons for so many injuries has been mulled over and scruitinised at length and to a infinate degree by everyone at the club..

Players of all ages , sizes and positions are injured so it has nothing to do with age, heavy pitches or conditioning..

OK for once I will tell you honestly what is the cause for most of the injuries and foronce it may shut the conspiricy theorists up .

1, JR spun it like a good pr man does. I would expect no less of him.
2, You can look beyond bad luck if preparation and training is poor. However as none of us are part of the coaching setup we will know no different.
3, One of the big reasons for injuries is allowing players carrying a knock to play on. IE Radford & Meley will be playing this weekend with injuries and if they get injured further (Which is a higher probability because they are carrying a knock and you then tend to over compensate for that knock and make another part of your body prone to injury) it will just add to the injury list. With the team we are looking to put out a defeat is a high probability surely it would make more sense to blood some youngsters and let the senior players recover fully without risking them further.
Or is the fact that Agar knows he is performing poorly clouding his decision?
