Gameday is one of the problems we have
in the old days everyone knew the game was on a Sunday afternoon now its all over the place.
Apart from fulfilling the Sky obligations the club should stick to one day for home games with the same time KO.
We are looking at Friday night,Saturday or Sunday.
None are ideal for everyone but i dont think Saturday works and is also a traditional football day which comes back to Friday evening or Sunday.
Friday we know cuts out most travelling fans so for me the club should revert back to Sunday afternoon home fixtures.

For me too at Leigh. I'd love that.

I’d go with Saturday followed by a Friday for matches. Saturday is a traditional football day but I don’t follow a football team. Sunday’s are out for me now.

Sunday invariably leaves you with a good number of short turnarounds so not ideal

not if you can get most other teams back to playing on a Sunday barring Sky commitments

Won't happen

As a Wakey fan following in the Championship this season most of our games home and away have been played on a Sunday. I missed Batley away and didn't go to France due to being away for both games, it's been brilliant taking the grand kids getting to places I have not been to for years. Seen some great games and had banter with amazing fans and been welcomed at virtually every ground. Admitted Wakey have travelled well as any winning side would but a consistent fixture list that was published last year and has been true to it's word has made it so much easier to plan and get to many more games.

I would guess and there has been talk for next season , With all the games now live on TV (one way or another ) these are /should be more staggered so less games clash at kick off times .

Still think there is more demand from fans for playing on a Sunday
If IMG were any good this is an area they should be looking at when trying to grow the game and attendances instead of speadsheets and grades

Looks like Parcell is looking to stay in SL next season. Would have been a far better option than Cust in my opinion..

At hooker definitely but if we're looking for cover for half back he'd have been no use. Neither will cust, of course, if he can't stay fit
