Also, we had attacking structures last season and in the first few games of this season up until Holdsworth's injury. Since then we have been adjusting structures in an attempt to fit them to available personnel. Gentle has referred to this in almost every interview. I guess people aren't listening.
Fans have been down to training and seen us practising attacking plays and structures. This part of the coaching is not an issue. What [iis[/i an issue is that without Holdsworth on the pitch we apparently have a group of players utterly unable to put the coaches instructions into practice. I don't know why that is or whose fault it is, and frankly I don't care. It needs to be fixed and Gentle has to come up with a way to do that, regardless of whether it's his fault or not.
Oh - and your last comment is just stupid. Sorry to be blunt but TBH I'm fed up with people only being able to see two polar opposite positions on this. It's perfectly possible to be unhappy with the way things are and still be rational about the reasons behind it.'"
We're a disorganised rabble. Either the coach is not communicating his plans and systems as he should despite the excellent weeks training or his players are incapable of implementing the instructions and/or are not of the required standard. Either way , as you say , this is down to PG and his coaching staff and to McRae if he is responsible for recruitment/putting together a competitive team. We are worse at the moment but the players looked like they'd never met before in many games last year as well. Quite honestly if Jonathan Thurston played for us tomorrow we'd still struggle. There's a lot wrong and there look to be no quick fixes or ideas within the current group. |

so horny played most his career at 7 plus whiting signed as a 6 and azza good enough last season are not halfbacks.not the best granted but good enough to beat london and rovers with the right coaching and game plan . didnt we beat hudds in playoffs with horn n azza? |

friday was def a low point for me.as much as i'v had faith in gentle i am now thinking he is'nt the real deal.even if your 6/7 are missing if you play a game plan which contains dummy runners and options at least the stand in players have a chance.our lack of dummy runners is beyond a joke.watchin wig v sts i honestly saw more dummy runners in the first 20mins than i'v seen all season.no getting away from that been down to coaching and not injuries
