| Quote: TnT "The people who attend seem to have money. They pay entrance fee and buy expensive beer and food when there. So cost is an issue for non attenders? That said considering the dross served up the crowds have been ok and I see a lot of younger folk going who presumably aren’t loaded. So there is an appetite. Better performances, better half time entertainment, looking at the days and times of games and some billboards advertising matches would help, along with creative ticket packages. I think allowing characters in the game to flourish is important even allowing skirmishes on the field without yellow and red cards would enhance what is already a great product. On the flip side cut out injury feigning etc to get penalties. For me the attraction of the game is the athleticism, toughness, skill and honesty of the participants. Long May this continue'"
I think the clubs need to work to make matches an "event" again rather than just a match. If families/first timers go watch a game, the team loses but you've had a good evening thanks to a decent pre match buildup / half time entertainment etc then you're likely to come back irrespective of result, if you go and the main thing is the match, nothing else and the quality of the rugby is awful, those fans might not come back. People's time of is valuable and whilst you've got the core that will attend 'in any kind of weather' it's the fans that attend the occasional match and may spend their money elsewhere if the product isn't good you need to work on attracting back

You don’t understand the impact of his 2 injuries plus any other knocks he gets and walking in to a crap team. He is now showing why we should keep him. Not sure what you want from him. Unaware of Truemans desire to go west. I hope he doesn’t'"
i would like him to run and score tries
How many tries has he scored whilst here? not many

I’m sure you would but if he scores none and makes a couple every game - and he’s improving - I’ll be happy. Mr B I suspect you’re never happy. Just recall how bad we were earlier in the season compared to Saturday. Does that not eke out a smile? There is so much to see optimism in. I guess it’s how you perceive your glass

| Re the matchday experience, agree it is pretty awful. No change from about 15 years ago except for the dj who I don't think improves things. Also not a fan of saturday afternoon games, much prefer Friday nights

| The club have been sending out a members survey so a chance to have our say.
There was a question about match day preference. I suspect it's pretty much split between weekend afternoons and Friday evenings, cannot please everyone.

| To maximise TV exposure, no two clubs should have the same kick off time, otherwise you just split the TV audience. I suppose it's difficult to get clubs to agree on kick off times though if most clubs think Friday night games bring the biggest attendance and corporate revenue

Why would he need to sell it?

Gameday is one of the problems we have
in the old days everyone knew the game was on a Sunday afternoon now its all over the place.
Apart from fulfilling the Sky obligations the club should stick to one day for home games with the same time KO.
We are looking at Friday night,Saturday or Sunday.
None are ideal for everyone but i dont think Saturday works and is also a traditional football day which comes back to Friday evening or Sunday.
Friday we know cuts out most travelling fans so for me the club should revert back to Sunday afternoon home fixtures.

For me too at Leigh. I'd love that.
