| Interesting to see he tried to buy the club in 2002. Shows he really wants the club. So stop doubting him and get behind the club. As a smaller club like Warrington have proved ambitious owners get you a long way

Hopefully he'll have learnt from the Sharp/Agar fiasco or the Brown/Parkinson one - has anything like that actually ever worked for a prolonged amount of time?

| Think he will as they say take the bull by the horns and want to put us were we rightly belong. Won't take any fools and agar be under pressure straight away to deliver and so will the players

| I for one are happy with this situation and hope the club can now reach it's potential if Kath was actively looking to sell then it could have gone to anyone who doesn't have an affinity with rugby league, but Pearson has been here before and knows what Hull FC means to the fans. I personally like Adam Pearson and im impressed with his no nonsense style, welcome Adam.

| I don't see Agar going anywhere soon, in fact I would say that Pearson will want to 'back him' to give him a psychological lift. No point in buying a business then blowing it all to bits in five minutes. I would think Pearson will take a measured view of Agar over the rest of the season and even slightly beyond. Pearson's no mug, he will know all the stats of Agar's etc. It's what he feels he can deliver that will be really focused upon now. Will auntie kath & Co going release Agar's abilities in some funny way? Who knows - all the best Adam.

| Quote Old_Faithful_IAKW="Old_Faithful_IAKW"Yet sold Hull City to Duffen? Also, his choices in managers are questionable - Peter Taylor was obviously a good manager but what about Phil Parkinson, (debatedly) Phil Brown, Jan Molby, .
Maybe the BOD wouldn't sell to Allam because of his questionnable conduct and comments about Hull FC with regards to the stadium and mergers?'"
He sold to duffen because he felt he couldn't take it city any further because he didn't have the funds to get city any higher.
Phil parkinson was a good yound manager who had a very good record at southend (i think) and at the time it was seen a s a good appointment. similar to molby.
Phil Brown i think is citys most successful manager

| Our prayers have been answered! bye bye Agar! I remember Adam sacking Brian Little after an embarrassing defeat when he went shopping with his wife instead of giving the players extra training. Make no mistake this man breeds success and is just what we need. Watch this space all you doubters.
