Even taking into account to issues we faced before kick off and loss of Cator we looked miles off yet again.
Whats telling for me is that I don’t even feel that vexed off or disappointed anymore as it’s become such a norm and expected.'"
I'm over it already as I don't expect anything else now.

well he is certainly not a half back thats for sure.
Hoy is not a six in my opinion but maybe a better balance with him and Smith
Just dont see Balmforth getting a run whilst Smith is in charge

Tonight wasn't our night.
Long way to go. On to the next.
Bring on Burgess's boys. If his team play with the aggression he played with, they'll be down to seven men.'"
Thankful that Hiku's goal kicking was as shambolic as our discipline. How many 1st teamers we missing for Wire - 10 is it?

First game in and it's already been brought up.

| On way back. Here's my view on things. Pele deserved sending off. Sao no way. On the whole our pack did ok. Plus when Ashworth came on he was a handful. For me our main problem was the backs. Smith tried but didn't really do anything of note. Brown was invisible. The 3/4 apart from Martin imo where awful. You maybe didn't notice it on TV but there where all over the place. I hope Tuime and Sutcliffe are back soon. Brown needs to play hooker.Hoy looked lively when he came on so get him at 6. In reality where miles of. One last word I slag lane of regularly but he ran and tackled his socks of tonight.

Fair assessment.
Points are my biggest worry, I've watched 160 mins of Hull so far this year and nor for a single minute of it have I thought we look threatening with ball in hand.

Thought Brown was particularly disappointing tonight, Hoy and Smith seemed to work better as a pairing Houghton failed his head test so Balmforth has to come in next week. Without Cator or Fash I’d probably move Brown to 13. Will we see Gardiner and Staveley in the 17 with the likely suspensions to Pele & Sao.
Thought Ashworth, Martin & Sao showed up well other than that thought it was pretty poor. If Herman & Franklin can’t keep the discipline then we’re in even bigger trouble.
