With Watts is it news of the signing for next season or with immediate effect?

If with immediate effect does this mean the club could try and move O'Meley on before the end of the season (Salford perhaps?)

According to the HDM yesterday the signing of Watts is with immediate effect, don`t know anything about O'Meley though.

Deal with Watts was struck on Friday, in the last 24 hrs he has made the odd comment on twitter about a new start etc and wished Rovers luck for the rest of the season so I think it will be an immediate switch.

I was told a couple of weeks back that Watts would join us within a fortnight, the same source told me that we were attempting to release O'Meley as soon as possible.

Me too. I understand that PG is concentrating on this season and this is Bomber's role but for me his shelf life in that role is about done. We don't know but maybe Gentle like having him there?

We lost Manu & Turner it was well documented in the media with quotes from the club that we tried to retain those players, especially Manu, retention of quality is as important as signing quality

Kris Welham is in the Knights however I doubt fans would be excited about signing him! on saying that I am not unhappy about the signings of Arundel or Watts however I expect better signings to be made in the future if we are serious about competing.
