It seems even the players either love him or hate him, as supporters clearly do.

Skipper Roy Asotasi, who played against Crocker in the 2004 grand final, admitted he has hated parts of Crocker's game.

"I guess we hated his aggression," he said. "That's one of his biggest assets. He did that to Brett Stewart in the '07 grand final - he knocked him out, and he's done it to a few people. I look at him as the sort of player that turns games.

"He loves people hurting on the field. A lot of blokes are looking forward to playing next to him. It's good to have him on the other side."

I agree - it's just very disappointing

I would like to see us at least lodging a formal complaint, although I guess the chances of getting any satisfactory response would be vanishingly small.

I'm as disappointed as any one that he will not be coming but I do think its time that we as a club move on from Crocker . Instead of the club kicking up a fuss / lodging formal complaints and wasting time and money on this the club needs to move forward and concentrate putting all their effort on signing the 2/3 top quality players we need for possibly this season but definatly next.
The people who should be taken the British immergration to task are the not Hull fc.

And to think that some on here had even questioned whether we really needed him or would have been better with a player in a different position instead. Fact is he is exactly the type of player we need and was on the face of it an excellent example of the right recruitment. Matters outside our control have scuppered the deal but let's hope future recruits are of the same high standard this guy would have been. Our fortune will change for the better but player recruitment and retention is the number 1 priority for getting right into the future.
