Me bitter? We're far exceeding my expectations already this season. Why would I be bitter?

Hudds completed at 93% and us 78 according to superleague website although then gives us a lot more carris so not sure i believe it tbh

Rapana in my opinion, has had more rocks than diamonds in a black and white shirt..  tackling technique isn't the best, as an international marquee signing, I feel we could do better.
Starting the season with four 2nd rowers, 2 of which weren't fit, add on another 2nd rower whose durability is questionable, we are where we are.
Hope Carty can sort our indiscipline asap.

He's been moved around a bit this season and I love his enthusiasm but yes his defence is a worry, seven missed tackles from nineteen attempts yesterday and he had the same figures on Good Friday. A fifth of our missed tackles yesterday were from Jordan.

Very poor.
Are we getting found out?
That incredible first half display against Warrington already feels like a distant memory.

Think teams are realising they can't just turn up against us this year. We caught a couple of teams off guard (Wire first half, Wigan CC second half) but unfortunately theres an awareness of that now. Really disappointing yesterday, and that run of more "favourable" fixtures coming up looks a little more daunting now. 

If we sort out the discipline and ball control we'll be much better. We only lost by virtue of a missed goal kick yesterday despite being a mand down for half the game and putting i  probably our worst display of the season.


Add in 2 x centres at 2nd row and a winger and full back in the centres and you can see why it's not great right now.


We desperately need some 2nd rowers back.


My other concern is overplaying herman and Knight which is bound to catch up with us at some point, although Knight likely to be having an elongated break now

I don't think he rates our bench forwards which is leaving Herman, Knight, Asiata and Bourouh to do massive minutes.


Aydin made 2 carries for 7m yesterday.

Assuming Knight gets a ban, the Reserves have a game next weekend so I think that would count as one of the games? 

A major upgrade required or we'll be pointless from the next 3.
Hopefully come out firing after the rest period.

Well we’ve sung there praises so far this season and rightly so, but it’s only fair to pull them up when they fall below the standards promised.


We got dragged into a scrappy game by a very poor side, with senior players on the pitch I’d like to think we would be smart enough to not fall into the trap.


The Knight red card is borderline unforgivable.


To give credit to the team we improved in 2nd half however some of our attacking options were clunky at best, we lost contact constantly which has been a worry for a few weeks.


Agree that Cartwrights use of the bench has been weird, likes of Ese’ese, Bourouh and Knight playing way too many minutes.


Context is important, we are still ahead of where most thought we would be, we’ve done it tough with two centres at SR, hopefully get some bodies back in the next couple weeks and kick on from there.
