Buyers may now be thinking that they'll wait til they're relegated and get the club on the cheap, with a few players moved on and off the wage bill. Can't see any way back for City after today's result, defence is leaking goals, they can't score and no one seems to want to sign for them.

I did wonder whether that may be the case. Still quite bunched up from Palace down though, got a feeling City'll survive as there are plenty of teams round them not doing so well either. The intention to sell though, I do wonder how sincere and proactive it is. Seems a long time with no interest.

Busy on the CTWD stuff. He's on CityIndependent forum. Some rather rude things to say about Allam.

11 games without a goal in 15 games is shocking form though, if they were grinding out 0-0 draws you could say there was some hope, but they are also leaking goals every week

| I've said it before, I'll say it again. City can go down for all I care.
Is Ass'ole Allam waiting for a parachute payment before ditching the club?

Looking at their remaining fixtures, I can't see them picking up more than 9 or 10 points before the end of the season

If Status Quo played at the KC, City would still get beat.

I reckon so. He will probably trouser the parachute payment to recover the money he has loaned to the club and then sell it for whatever he can get.

| If City are relegated, Allam will use the parachute payments to pay himself his loans back, City will have to drastically reduce the wage bill and so will fade back to a lower championship club.
I sincerely hope they stay in the Premiership and preferably Allam sells them, but the fact is he never did nor does he have any intention of selling, with the massive loans he's put in they're unsaleable. He likes it that way.

Maybe he'll use the money to build a new stadium out west?

If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...: |
|
| City looking like the team that everyone says have too many good players to go down - but go down!
Hope not from a sporting perspective but will shed no tears for Allam if they do.
I think if city go down Allam will take the parachute payment to pay back his 'gift' to the city and clear off.

Not even sure that's true tbh. From what I've seen they just aren't a good set of players
