| Quote: tommyfromhull "Having watched it back, we didn't do as bad in that period as I thought we had. Our line speed and aggression dropped in defence for around 10-12 mins and Wire capitalised, like any top team would. Two of their tries came from clearly obvious knock ons, one from Mcarthy another from Ratchford. Monahagn's first try was a very good leap for the ball, second Yeamo and Galea were to blame for not closing the gap in the line. Shannon and Lineham were quality. We're not far off.'"
Watched it back this afternoon, and have to agree that we weren't as bad on TV than it seemed in the ground. A few stupid errors put pressure on the defence and tired the team out.
Think all we need is a good run against weaker opposition to build some confidence and we'll be back up there.
would still like us to add another big forward if we have the budget though, even if it is another Sam Moa style project. I fear that if O'Meley gets injured we'd be pretty toothless in attack.

Looks pretty limp on tonight's performance

A fit Tickle, Watts and Ellis and we are a much better team in the pack. Encouraged so far.

Yeah, those 3 will be a massive boost to the forwards, but I'd still like another impact forward added, especially as we have to replace O'Meley for next season anyway.

| Im happy, we are and should be battling for 4th place with Cats and Saints. Wire and Wigan and, if they fancy it, Leeds, will be after the top three slots. We are in the next bracket of teams currently fighting for 4th -6th.
Then the last 2 slots are up for grabs with Wakey, Cas, Bradford and Hudds.
Currently we have the form for this and hopefully can get along and beat these teams to maintain our position.

| Firstly, the best team on the night won.
That 2 of their tries came from missed knock ons is largely irrelevant. They still ended up crossing the line which means the defence got breached.
Overall we defended well for 65 mins. I think a few fans got a bit too giddy that Briers, Westwood and Morley were missing. Myler and Retchford are a much more potent threat than Briers, Myler clearly showing last night. We perhaps didn't expect M Monaghan to play as well as he did. We got sliced through the middle far too often.
What was clear was we are still reliant on one player. That player this year is Holdsworth.

| Was expecting better from us but overall not too disappointed, think I started to believe the injury hype , but Wire are no mugs and do have a stronger squad than us right now.
Even when 6-4 at half time I felt their forwards were starting to to get on top. After that I think poor handling and some iffy decisions really didn't give us a ball to play with so little wonder we went out of the game. But the bad handling is just not good enough and no excuse, I really thought we were better than that. Clearly, losing the force of Ellis and Watts will cost us against the top sides as we just can't replace them, which shows we've no real depth in the size department. But I still think we will come good and I think we we be top 4 this year. My take on the half back saga is that Heremia dooes not have enough craft at 7 against the top sides, we need an experienced 7 so look no further than Seymour / Horne. Nicklas is 3rd choice for me, and Heremia at 9 and only 9, where he gives us loads of everything, including craft.

| not too upset over this loss. Wire are a great side and showed why they're favourites for the title.
Once we get our offence firing I really believe we'll challenge these top sides.

| You can't give Warrington 12 sets out of 13 - crazy statistsic! We did well to lose by only 14.
Some good signs in the 3/4s, although Yeamo seems to be missing Manu, very quiet in attack.

You have an idea after 7 games, but teams can always make a push later on. Look at us when we finished second. We looked doomed after 7 games.
Personally I think we will win the next 3. Huddersfield have claimed a couple of scalps but they showed against Wakefield that they are far from all conquering.

The team. Most team's run the same play's or slight variations the successful teams execute these plays with speed, timing and pass accuracy. Also it's about executing the right plays in the right part of the field off of the back of the right platform.
I believe we have shown glimpses and as Brian Noble said last night in patches we look the real deal. It'll come it just takes time.

I dont think your top 4 - too inconsistent, defence too fragile and squad not big enough. You should be happy with a Top 6 finish. Wire, Wigan, Saints, Catalans, Leeds still ahead of you. Are u better than Huddersfield?

| I think Wire will be the team to be this year.
We were as good as Sts on their muck last week. Leeds will always be good. Too early to tell on the other teams, Hudds have started unbelievably well.
Our defence has been good so far and I have seen enough of our attack to know its going to be better this year, Holdsworth and Mcdonnell seem to have formed a good understanding already and having two different shows at hooker is helping too.
Be nice to have more points after 4 rounds but I hoped for 4 and expected 2 when I saw the fixtures.
We must put in a good performance at Widnes now though to show we can be consistent.
