Look guys, there has been pages of rhetoric since Hunmbersides announcement this morning the facts for me are pretty simple really. Either Mike White got things terribly wrong, which judging by the size of the announcement this morning is pretty unlikely, or the Clubs have got their heads together as the Chairman get on very well together and decided that they deny anything and everything until the season is over. That would suit Rovers who don't want a backlash from the fans against their current full back which could destabalise the team, and it would suit us because the player will not be getting the hassle until the season is over and he can officially join us. I have heard only that he is going back to Aus. but I can't disregard what Mike White said because he has been right before!

If with immediate effect does this mean the club could try and move O'Meley on before the end of the season (Salford perhaps?)

According to the HDM yesterday the signing of Watts is with immediate effect, don`t know anything about O'Meley though. |

Deal with Watts was struck on Friday, in the last 24 hrs he has made the odd comment on twitter about a new start etc and wished Rovers luck for the rest of the season so I think it will be an immediate switch.

Bit of a contradiction to the claims when we signed G.Ellis that agents were knocking our door down etc......There are numerous occasions where Bomber has contradicted himself, he needs to shut the feck up and concentrate on not losing any more of our decent players, and signing the quality we have been promised!

I was told a couple of weeks back that Watts would join us within a fortnight, the same source told me that we were attempting to release O'Meley as soon as possible. |
